We have just returned from another brilliant two week stay at The Langham. All the fantastic reviews speak volumes for this great little Hotel. All we can do is reiterate what everyone else says.

Location, cleanliness, great selection of breakfast options, evening meals (optional) all excellent, as well as the hosts. Geoff and Jacqui certainly know how to run a hotel and cannot do enough for their guests, nothing is too much trouble. Back next year!!

Highly recommended.

Not to be compared with the clinical politness of the large modern day money machine hotels, with pristine walls and rubber food prepared by faceless microwave technicians who are not interested in your comforts and needs. A very warm welcome from excellent hosts await visitors to the Langham. Not old enough to be classed as a period hotel but reminisent of a bygone age when the personal touch really mattered.

Absolutely NOTHING is too much trouble for proprietors of this typical privately owned sea side hotel. Facing the sea it is in an excellent position with vast views of the Jurassic Coast of Dorset. It is easy to see how the Langham was a winner of Weymouth in Bloom when that competition was being run, the flower baskets are stunning. .An excellent varied breakfast is served. Though we had dinner out, I did see it being served and wished we had stayed to enjoy the home cooked roast beef. The recipients assured me it was delicious. Nearly all of the guests were return visitors, which speaks for itself.

We have a lot of admiration and respect for the our hosts Geoff and Jaquie. Like most seaside hotels they close during the quiet period but they don't go away to enjoy a lengthy holiday, they go to the Gambia and do a bit of good for their fellow human beings, actively helping the tiny country develop a school, dig wells etc.

We recommend this hotel and should we need to visit the area again the Langham will be our first choice for accomodation

Room Tip: Ask for sea view

Wonderful welcome everything explained
Room (9) spotless and great view although quite a few stairs. But that is due to the nature of the building lots of history around this hotel regarding the age and how it was once a house with the servant quarters at the top of the house so hence the amount of stairs.
Wonderful hosts and staff.Breakfast fab had cooked breakfast everyday and fantastic nothing too much trouble.
The idea of having a little fridge in the room is a brilliant idea especially as my husband is a diabetic so had no worries about storing his insulin also another great idea of a safe is brilliant saves having to take lots of money out with us.
Just brilliant place to stay

Great place to stay right on the sea front.Stayed just for one night easter week 2017 would have liked to stay longer Our room had a sea view nice view to wake up to.Room was very clean with en suite tea and coffie makeing facilities and tv.We were made very welcome on arrival by Jeff also by his staff at breakfast time.We had a full english breakfast but there was plenty of choice although it was timed breakfast it was no problem.Parking was not a problem but I would ask for a parking ticket.
