“Stunning View with Great Hospitality”
Reviewed December 18, 2017 for a stay in December 2017

Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the owner, Katharine and her husband Martin. No words could ever describe how grateful we were to be given the chance by the Almighty to experience and enjoy the beautiful scenery during winter at this cottage. The cottage is well equipped and our experience is nothing less than exceptional. Our kids especially our 2year old boy really loved staying at this cottage and he made sure that he didn't miss to play and explore the surroundings even during heavy snow and he was chilling
Furthermore, the kind, courteous and friendly owners, Katharine and Martin make us really feel comfortable and at home.
Would definitely recommend to others and as for us, we will be coming back over and over again whenever we come and visit our daughter at Keele Uni. 2nd thoughts.. This cld be our holiday home... Hmmmm
We have started to miss CampHill Cottage already. Thank you once again to Katharine and Martin...

Thank you so much for this review, it is great to know you enjoyed your stay with us. We look forward to seeing you again in 2018. Unfortunately we can't always guarantee snow but in May the rhododendrons look amazing!

“Don't want to tell you about it :'D”
Reviewed October 23, 2017 for a stay in October 2017

We are really reluctant to voice our absolute fantastic weekend here. We don't want people to know about this stunning gem of a place. As soon as we landed back home we are talking about booking up soon as possible. If there were more stars to give then we would certainly give them. Everything from booking, comunications, cleanliness, outstandingly beautiful grounds.... Everything 11/10

Shhhh please don't tell everyone.

:-D

“Fabulous Stay”
Reviewed October 22, 2017 for a stay in October 2017

Just came back from a 2 night stay at Camp Hill. 2 familes came from Sunderland and London to spend some quality time together.
We all had a fabulous time.
The cottage was absolutely lovely especially the fire on a cold night and the best night sleeps I've had for a long time. The grounds and gardens were well looked after, peaceful and a great area for the children to explore. (we're not keen on the old hut with the gray lady)! halloween walk!
We went on the walk at the back of the house which 3 children absolutely loved climbing over tree stumps, using the ropes to get up hill, crawling under falling trees (even I managed it with a baby in a sling). We walked to the local pub with log fires and alcohol!
We are definitely booking up for Summer 2018
Owners were really friendly and own a gorgeous house.
Thank you -

“A treasure trove to explore”
Reviewed June 12, 2017 for a stay in June 2017

This was an incredible find - a real treasure of a house and grounds to explore and enjoy! We had no idea this place would be quite so amazing. The cottage itself was perfect for our family and had lots of charm and everything we needed. But the true treasure was the grounds we were able to explore! Our two kids had a blast finding fun, exciting things all around the gardens. We enjoyed a family walk exploring the rhododendron tunnels, and I later had the chance to explore further up the gulley myself. Well worth every moment spent and can't wait to return for longer!! Hosts were friendly and helpful too, as was the gardener on the grounds. Wonderful stay!

“Great stay”

Lovely place, very peaceful. Not far into Baldwins Gate, and Newcastle or Market Drayton are not too far either. We enjoyed our stay, thank you.

“Lovely cosy cottage”
Reviewed April 10, 2017 for a stay in February 2017

We had a lovely short break at the cottage, clean and modern. Large gardens surrounding the cottage to explore. Would be fantastic in the summer. The building works on the main house nearby didn't hinder us. Some lovely restaurants within a short drive. Would have loved to have gone for some long walks but we weren't too sure of the best routes, we managed a short walk around the neighouring fields.
