A group of 30 friends stayed here, cant complain about the rooms but our room looked out onto a factory which worked all weekend starting early in the morning even 7am on a Sunday, the food was lovely on the evening we arrived a little bit slow but we didnt mind as we were chatting, the breakfasts were very good I found the bar drinks expensive, would stay there again but bring own drinks

Room Tip: try to book a front room

Stayed here for a short break for my husbands birthday. We thought it excellent value for money. The gym was just the right size, not too busy or intimidating. The indoor pool is really warm, with loungers to relax on in between swimming and a nice little cafe. The staff are laid back and friendly. The restaurant staff especially good.We enjoyed the three course meal in the cosy restaurant and thought the breakfast was exceptionally good.Only complaint,we asked for a wine bucket and ice in our room on arrival for a bottle of champagne we took with us.They must have put it in the room about five hours before we arrived,as it was just a bucket of water! We did just laugh though. The room was modern, clean and warm, but they hadnt topped up our milks and coffee.Would definetly stay here again, even though we are locals.

Room Tip: The rooms overlooking the pool would be noisy in the summer because of the busy road.

2night stay on winter deal £44 BB&D all I can say is absolutely fantastic value for money. Better than some 5 star Hotels we have stayed in. Staff are professional, food is very good all in all a very successful weekend.

Stay here a lot and rooms are well appointed with good facilities. Unfortunately dinner and breakfast service is excruciatingly slow and food standard is poor. If you want anything even slightly different for example, no dressing on a salad, you get blank looks and you can see panic in their eyes. Then it still gets served with dressing....it's such a common occurrence that we actually now find it amusing! That said the hotel overall is fine and offers a comfortable nights sleep.

We attended a conference at the hotel and were pleasantly surprised by the facilities, service and food. The refreshment timings were spot on and everything seemed very well organised.

My husband was a bit surprised by the Norovirus hand gel in the WC's. Not come across that before but we took it as another sign that the hotel management are on the ball.

We stayed here over Christmas and spent the holiday with family during the day and used the facilities and had B and B. We were even able to take the dog with us which we were very pleased about.

The Gym and pool are really very clean and well equipped and open for our use. The Breakfast was very good and the staff very friendly and prepared to really provide a festive atmosphere. There is ample parking and although the kitchen was not serving food they did provide us with a light supper when we needed it.

Room Tip: We stayed on the ground floor which was ideal for a dog and for an elderly relative although being o...
