Had a fantastic time, the wonderful comforts and excellent standard of the accommodation was wonderful. Would definitely recommend the granary if your looking for home from home break away, lovely harbour views loved all the useful information available on the area and even spotted sammy the seal on 2nd day. Highly recommend.
A fantastic refuge whilst moving house within Dunbar. The flat is cosy, spacious and warm (we were there on the coldest night of the year). A real privilege to spend that much time at the harbour. Watching the RNLI drill, the fishing fleet come and go and spotting Sammy the seal were the highlights.
A generously sized flat overlooking Dunbar harbour. We couldn't believe how well equipped this flat is, everything you could possibly want is included. The view over the harbour and out to sea towards Bass Rock is a constant source of interest and for a birder like me fascinating. It's easy to walk into the town, a twelve minute walk gets you to the station and a train into the heart of Edinburgh takes 25-30 minutes. The only slight drawback is that the thick granary walls block mobile signals and we had to get up close to the windows. Highly recommended
What a superb apartment - it really has everything you need and more! From the moment you walk into this wonderfully spacious holiday flat, you feel hugely welcome. The hamper was a brilliant touch - so appreciated after a long drive and the provisions everywhere were both thoughtful and generous. We slept really well, enjoyed the luxurious bathroom and were mesmerised by the endless activity in the harbour along with sensational views. So much to see - including our beloved Bass Rock, at all times of day and in all weathers. We had so much sunshine and 'Sunny Dunny' lived up to its nickname. The locals were friendly and we actually got used to seeing the seals pestering the fishermen each day! Thank you Sally - we will be back!
Roomy flat in seaside town, close to beaches, hiking, scenic tourist locales and East Lothian golf courses. Excellent views of the Harbour and the North Sea. Served as a great location for our stay, provided a feel of "home" while visiting Scotland. The flat is well-supplied with linens and kitchen supplies. Easy walking distance to shops, cafes and restaurants, as well. Gracious and considerate hosts who will ensure an enjoyable stay.
All the other superlative reviews for this holiday let are absolutely true. It is a beautiful flat in a beautiful situation and the owners have done everything possible to make it attractive, comfortable and convenient. We particularly liked the telescope in the living room to watch the kittiwakes on the castle wall opposite. Also the enormous shower room and the welcome basket - more a hamper. Also everything else. Wonderful.
