“Extremely relaxing stay in delightful cottage on IOW”
Reviewed January 11, 2013 for a stay in December 2012

We stayed in Camellia cottage over New Year, it is a very coy and comfortable cottage, it has ample space and an extremely well equipped kitchen. It is tucked away in the peace and quiet of Niton, with very nice gardens which I am sure in the summer would be spectacular. We immediately felt at home and would recommend it to couples or families looking for a peaceful retreat. and a good location to explore the rest of the IOW.

“The ultimate home from home.”
Reviewed September 16, 2012 for a stay in June 2012

Camellia cottage has to be the best place I have ever stayed at. The accommodation is superb and the location brilliant. Very roomy and well equipped and nothing is too much trouble for the owner. Have enjoyed staying at Camellia cottage every year for the last 4 years and hoping to make it 5 times next year. It's a must!

This is our second time to Camelia Cottage, the cottage is to a very high standard and the children (4 and 6) loved exploring the garderns. The welcoming hamper was a lovely touch. Thank you.

“Best Place I have ever stayed”
Reviewed August 27, 2012 for a stay in August 2012

This place has EVERYTHING. it's quiet, there's loads to do nearby (You will need a car) the pub is a 2 minute walk away. It just couldn't be better. watching badgers eating literally inches away from you is just the icing on the cake.
The Cottage has three bedrooms, 2 doubles and a twin. The owner couldn't be more helpful, he put up an inflatable bed for us, as we were 7, and there is a sofa bad in the extension.
Don't think you can come here and hubby will be working from here, there is NO mobile signal. but there is internet, although only oin the kitchen and dinning room.
Everything is well decorated and clean, the welcome pack was a lovely touch.
Having the gates on the drive meant the kids could run around without us having to constantly watch them.
I can't recomend this cottage enough.

“It simply feels like we've come home.”
Reviewed August 21, 2012 for a stay in August 2012

The house is charming, very comfortable, and in a prime location. John and Louise spare no expense when it comes to providing for their guests. Plenty of entertainment by way of DVDs, docking station for the I Pod, foosball table, and Connect games for the kids.

The grounds are lovely, tables and chairs in all areas of the split level garden in which to relax with a mojito while a steak sizzles on the gas bar-b. There was also a very thoughtful welcome hamper of wines, strawberries and cream, and toiletries for our stay. We have just come home from our third year at Camellia Cottage, and have booked again for next year. We Southerners vote with our feet ;0)
