Stayed at this so called Boutique hotel last week, what a disappointment, very difficult to find in the first place. After you walk through the door behind the restaurant the doors and the carpet are filthy all the way up to our room which was up two small flights of stairs. The room was approximately 12ftx10ft and very hot and stuffy but we couldn't open the window as it was locked. The view outside the window was awful as the pictures with prove. From approximately 6.30 in the morning the noisy extractor fan went on and we got the smells of breakfast and when we went back in the evening the smells of the Thai restaurant underneath this went on until around 11/11.30.On the plus side the sheets were clean and the room was cleaned. The restaurant underneath the rooms was very good as were the staff.

Room Tip: Don't bother

Well to say it was disappointing.

Had a room at the back over the Thai Restaurant. It was very hot and smelt of food the whole time. Kitchen extractor fans full blast constantly could not sleep.
Carpets to bedrooms were disgusting, black in cooking oil from the staff walking up and down to either their accommodation or a store room on the first floor.
Could write our names in the dust on the bed side tables shelves.
The view from the window not that we expected to be able to see the beach as we were at the back of the hotel was well let's just say,we kept the curtains closed.
It looked over a flat roof and small yard area it was sad to see.
Flat roof covered in dirt and moss, old roof gutters and pipes just left about everywhere and cables just hanging about. It just gave the impression of we don't care.
Now apart from the hotel I must say the breakfast was good and we had a Thai meal one night that was excellent in fact the best I've ever had.
If only the hotel was as good as the restaurant.
Stayed for 5 days little sleep due to excessive noise and heat.

i I have to say that this is not what I would call a hotel. There is a very good Thai restaurant downstairs where you check in and have breakfast, which is excellent. The major problem is the entrance to the rooms. The carpet is very dirty and the doors need painting so therefore it is not a very good first impression. However our room number 9 was very clean and big with everything you could need. A bonus was the wonderful view over the bay. Beware when booking this room as there are 50 stairs to climb. Overall it was good value for money and would book again. I do not know what the other rooms where like so can't comment on those. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Room Tip: The Acacia Suite looks very good and also Room 9

How they can call this a boutique hotel is beyond me ! The website and book .com description of this place are a million miles from the reality !!
It should be listed as cheap 1 star bed and breakfast with reasonably good view .

This is a 3rd rate Asian restaurant with bedrooms attached that are of secondary importance. The hotel does not have a reception nor residents lounge. I has 4 floors of bedrooms but no lift. The staircase is disgraceful dirty. Your feet stick to stair carpet on the lower levels. It looks well trodden with oily boots. Everything about this place has been done on the cheap. The whole place is dirty. We had shower over the bath with temperature controlled by the bath taps. It was impossible to get a constant water temperature for the shower without the risk of scalding. The furniture and beds looked like they all came from charity shops. Boutique is an acronym for second hand or cheap. There seemed to be different staff each day. They are clearly foreign immigrants and although polite have little training. We only ever had breakfast in the hotel. That was reasonable. The website gives a false impression. Avoid this place like you would the plague.
