There are quite a few restaurants along North Quay and this is certainly one of the best. It’s not big or particularly glamorous, but it is comfortable and welcoming. The food is excellent - we both had crab for starters, followed by hake and seafood curry - all great. Good creative cocktails as well. The wine is pricey though.

When you have visitors this is a fun place to go ! Must book in advance ! Food is great ! Menu is great ! Sea food and queenies very good ! Highly recommend the lobster ! Service pretty good most of the time ! Nice atmosphere ! Nice location and great staff especially the chefs who you can see and talk to in their little kitchen ! First choice to go to when I eat out ! Just wish they still opened on a Sunday morning !

Tiny restaurant with big pretentions. For example, scallops looked and smelled good. But only three for your money and one was rubbery. Also dressing would have been perfect for snails but seafood, hum . Lemon sole perfectly cooked but served on the bone, so where was the plate for the debris ? Chips soggy. Breaded monkfish sounded grand but was bland. Wine list uninspired and wildly overpriced. Lemon sponge pudding and tiny sundae tasty and well done. But £120 for three dinners is not exactly vfm. P.s. The staff were really nice but tips were not included in the price.

Walked in and asked for a table as the place looked gorgeous and menu sounded good. We're told we could have a table for an hour - which was perfect for us as we didn't need a lot of time. Service was fab - fish cakes were the best I've ever had and my partners fish with the herby crumb - he loved it. Sides you have to order as extra, which is fine because they are generous portions. Would certainly go again, and deffo have starters and mains! Fab staff too! Thanks guys!!

If you want a reasonable table, it's best to book as the restaurant is small. Not particularly welcoming or efficient, but the food is good. Despite the place appealing to business people at lunch time, there was no rushing, or at least things weren't followed through e.g. the bill was brought when requested, but nobody seemed to think it necessary to come and collect payment.
