“Another fantastic holiday”

We came again for the first part of the week as a couple and then our daughter and her boyfriend joined us. The welcome was warm as always with fresh bread and a bottle of wine to greet us. Marvellous position as always and the weather was kind if changeable. Lots of walking with some new ones - The Wildcat trail to be recommended. Cycling in Rothiemurhcus and from the front door across the moors on one of General Wades roads and back via Newtonmore. So much to do and see. We will be back and have recommended it to others. Also wifi better than previously.

“Absolutely perfect”
Reviewed 23 August 2016 for a stay in August 2016

This was our second stay and it was just as excellent as the first time. We loved the cottage and Julie and John have thought of absolutely everything, it's like a home from home. The area offers up lots to do and kept us busy the whole time. Thank you for an amazing stay.

“Recipe for a great holiday”
Reviewed 20 June 2016 for a stay in May 2016

No.1 Location - How can Scotland fail on this.
No.2 Weather - Probably the best 7 days of weather in Scotlands history!
No.3 Accomodation - Sundowner Cottage, perfect.

We loved our stay here. Everything you read in these reviews is true. The cottage has been cleverly created and has everything you would need. Julie was very welcoming and gave us a run through as an introduction. The location is excellent as a base for touring the area, and is close enough to Kingussie for all your needs. The owners have thought of everything. There is a small games room for the use of guests, washing machine and drier for those that need them and there are even bikes to use complete with helmets.

We wouldn't hesitate booking here again.

Sixteenth visit - every one faultless! - Now planning for the next one later in the year.
Location is superb for relaxation or outdoor sports or just walking. Local scenery beautiful and fresh air you can taste! On top of this is the superb, comfortable well-equipped accommodation and perfect hosts - great! Have stayed at several other similar rentals and none come anywhere near.
Thanks to Julie & John for the chance of a great holiday!

“The perfect holiday cottage.”
Reviewed 21 March 2016 for a stay in March 2016

Beautifully designed small holiday cottage in a quiet location but close enough to the A9 to very quickly explore this part of Scotland. Welcomed with home made bread and a bottle of wine. This really makes you feel welcome. Shown where everything was and how things worked on arrival. This was our second visit here and it wont be our last.
