We just returned from an enjoyable 4 night stay at Crescent House Hotel. Comfortable, spotlessly clean rooms (family room comprising of one double room, one twin room & a bathroom behind one door). Fantastic breakfast each morning which set us all up for the whole day of exploring Ilfracombe and the surrounding area. Crescent House is situated right in the heart of the town, just a short walk to the harbour, the tunnels beaches, the seafront and the shops. Parking wasn't the big issue we had anticipated, there are spaces outside the hotel and if they were taken there are lots of short and long stay car parks close by.
Liam and his family are great hosts, very friendly, helpful and accommodating. We will be coming back to the area again so if all the rooms haven't been snapped up we will be back to stay at this hotel. Many thanks Liam & Sylvia.

When we arrived after our long journey from Essex, we were met by a very friendly owner who went out of his way to help and advise us on the best places to visit etc.. Our room was spotlessly clean and we did not hear any noise, even though the hotel was full. The breakfast was splendid, the staff first class and overall facilities were brilliant. We will certainly go again. Greg & Jill, Coggeshall, Essex

We had a very pleasant weekend stay -- a big, light room newly refurbished with everything we needed. Good breakfast and very helpful staff. The only niggle was parking - the long stay carparks are reasonable at £3.10 per day but the others are £1 an hour, and tracking down a long-stay is not that easy (the tourist office were less than helpful). But overall we had a great time and would highly recommend the hotel

Found the hotel ,staff, food absolutely brilliant, they do have small car pack at back of hotel ,but you would have to enquire at hotel for directions to it ,and you can park in the next street to it. You can arrange with the hotel to get you a permit before your arrival.we had no problem parking .if I ever went back to ilfracombe I would go back there to stay .it was central as well.

Can't fault this b&b - bed so comfortable and breakfast excellent. Building ongoing refurbishment but this in no way affects comfort - spotlessly clean. In middle of town - couldn't be better really!! Only reservation - keep bedroom window closed - noise from seagulls horrendous!!

We stayed here for two nights and couldn't have asked for more considering the price we paid. First impressions on walking through the main entrance was how clean and tidy the reception area was. The room contained everything we could have needed and the en suite seemed to have been recently refirbished and was also beautifully clean.
Breakfast was excellent. One lovely little touch which I must mention - as Marmite fans we asked if they had any which they didn't unfortunately. However, the next day we discovered a little box of Marmite on the breakfast bar.
Only one negative point, the lack of parking facilities. We had to pay for a space in the nearby Arlington Hotel car park!
Would definitely stay here again!!

I stayed for a long 3-day weekend - overall it was pretty good, except my room was pretty cold and I couldn't see any way to turn the heat on. I suppose that is done "centrally" and it was too early in the winter season for the heating to be on. Still my room had a nice view and was comfortable. I really liked Ilfracombe (beautiful cliff & hill walks) and I'm sure I'll be back some day.
