We frequently visit L'Amicos and keep going back because we enjoy the food so much. Yes the service isn't always prompt, but the regular staff who remember you make it nice when we return. The fillet steaks are a bit pricey at around £23 per steak, but they are the nicest steaks i have ever had. All the food here is prepared on the night. I have heard that the pizzas are very nice and the lasgne is also supposed to be very good . We also went when it was at Silverdale and have been to the Greenlands farm site at least 5 times since it has moved. I am sure we will definitely return.

During the day this restaurant is Wellies cafe, transforming in the evening into L'Amico ristorante italiano. However, unfortunately, the service does not appear to change. The satff clearly do not understand that a different approach is required to evening dining as opposed to casual cafe clientele. The food itself is fairly second-rate Italian, unimaginative, poorly prepared and expensive at the upper end of the menu. I can only assume this restaurant relies on a captive market given the marina close by and does not expect customers to give it repeat business. Those who do return, presumably, have fairly low expectations regarding eating out.

We have been to this restaurant before at its previous location , now moved to bigger and better premises at Greenlands Farm Village Carnforth.
Absolutely fabulous italian food. Over two visits three of us had a mixture of pizza, pasta, fish, chicken and steaks and although it was all excellent the steaks were just superb. The meal cost approx £30 to £35 per head but that included a bottle of wine all drinks & coffee and 3 courses. For me excellent value and we will be back as soon as we are in the area. Just to say the restraunt has a great decor with the centre piece of a big traditional pizza oven.
