Excellent service, above average food quality and all at a very fair price. Excellent decor, a real treat.

Didn't think Glady's Vintage Tea Room could get any better,
how wrong can you be. They are as of last night 18/10/2018 open for evening meals from 5:00pm and last food order 7:30pm.
Three of us went my partner Chris, Daughter Sarah and Myself, Sarah had home made Tomato soup which she said was Delicious must have been because we never even got a taste, Myself i ordered pan fried chickens livers with black pudding and beetroot again Delicious not a morsel was left, Chris ordered the same dish as a main course again Delicious. Sarah's main course a half parmo with chunky chips and garnish, Myself i ordered 10oz sirloin steak not my usual choice of steak (because they usually look like a rasher of bacon with a slug of fat running the length of one side) The sirloin served here was easy one inch thick or 25mm plus and very little fat.
I told the two owners that it was the best sirloin steak that i have ever had.cooked medium to rare by the way and perfection it at that,
The atmosphere, ambience, decor, music and staff Absolutely Tremendous.
As we left we thanked the Staff and sent our thanks to the Chef's.
Well worth a visit

The food was lovely and the decor very quirky with 40s music playing in the background.
However, the experience was totally spoiled by the tables being too squashed together for comfort.
Seated at the next table were a couple of men whose very loud conversation was interspersed
with extremely bad language...practically every other word was a swear word.
I know the staff cannot pick their clientele, but there were some young children and birthday party group of elderly people present and a quiet word from a staff member could have resolved the situation.
Nothing was said.
Rushed our meal and left.

Dear Peckisher
Glad you enjoyed the food and decor. Yes we are small but you can see that when you walk in. The closeness of the tables does not seem to bother anyone and we were full which is normal for the weekend at breakfast times.
I do take issue with your comment with regards to us speaking to the table that was next to you. We were not aware of any issue with that table until you mentioned it when you paid your bill and then you left immediately!
We did speak to the lads straight away on that table and to the adjacent tables as we take the comfort of our clients seriously and they did not seem to be upset or bothered by the situation you refer too, Your comment that nothing was said is strange. How would you know nothing was said when you were not there. We do tolerate any situation that would make our customers uncomfortable and would eject anyone who was being anti social.
Thank you for visiting.

Today our senior football team visited Glady’s for breakfast, the staff were fantastic and although it was very busy we were looked after and our food was great, a great venue for us to meet each match day with excellent food.
