We have had lunch here in the spring for many years. The fish & chips are favourite closely followed by fish cakes. The standard of cooking remains high and the service is always great.Hope to see you all next year.

Visited as a table of 4 with one vegetarian and a 10 year old. The menu stated a vegetarian soup however our waitress informed us that the soup selection for the day was either Cullen skink or lentil and bacon so that was obviously a no go and a little disappointing as we had intended on just having soup and sandwiches. My 10 year old ordered the lentil soup and just wanted a ham sandwich to go with this but we were told that he could not have just a ham sandwich only what was on the menu! Flexibility was obviously not the order of the day!! He ended up just having a portion of chips to go along with his soup.
My son had haggis bon bons to start and a flatbread, I had the baked camembert and blade of beef to follow. These were tasty and well presented.
I wouldn't hurry back and feel that a slightly more varied menu is required and little more flexibility.

We all throughly the Wedding from start to finish. All the staff were polite, friendly and carried out their work in a very professional manner. Complements to the chef, beautiful canopies, lovely meal and to top it all large selection of sandwiches later. The Milton is a lovely venue for any occasion. Would recommend it 100% Fiona

Stopped here last week for a light lunch. Service friendly. Husband had whipped feta and beetroot sandwich which came unexpectedly as an open sandwich with side salad and veggie crisps, he enjoyed this. I had Cullen skink which was extremely rich and condensed, served with white bread, though I had requested wholemeal. Good to try but not the best Cullen skimmIng had.
Would definitely visit again, though might not choose Cullen skink here.
