So no one in Hazelton is spending money to upgrade their road side attractions. Despite the exterior the inside is pretty serviceable with a decent mattress, coffee and shower. Pet friendly and the local cats know it. Good service— front desk got the Rainbow room to stay open and serve us dinner.

After Yukon prices — a bargain.

Without exception this was the most horrible motel we have ever stayed at. It was dirty, there was no toilet paper, and, the owners were nasty. They swore several times, and, in front of our young child. RCMP surrounded a room early the next morning, arrested some people and took them away in handcuffs. I'm told were friends of the owner.
My opinion.......sleeping in your car is safer. Stay clear of this place.

Interesting point of view from the writer of this review, She lied to us, brought 2 dogs into the room, with out claiming them. Not a pet room so the room must be fully cleaned as the next person may have allergies to pets. (we lose a nights rental) Woke us up at 3:00 am in the morning and demanded 50% off the price of the room. The RCMP were here in the morning searching for a missing person.
It is better if you never rent a room to people like this. The nightmare was having them stay here with the lies and arrogance. When i threatened to call the police they sped out of here like a rocket putting anybody on the hwy in jeopardy with their irresponsible actions.

Do not rent to this person

The motel is perfect no luxury but clean and complete. We stayed in the motel for one night because we had an accident with our RV. Howard offered us a beer for welcome and we had a nice talk. Next day he offered us his truck and when we said that is to much he took is out for a ride and was our travel guide for more than three ours. Where do you find such a hospitality???? We still are impressed and it was the most surprising experience of out holiday. Thanks soooooo much Howard.

Room tip: The suite is super including kitchen

Stayed here for one night during a return trip from Alaska.

The motel is clean, quiet, well maintained, and a great value. No complaints and would stay here again.

One caveat: The surrounding town has very little in the way of amenities. Most retail and other services are about 40 minutes down the road in Smithers.

I booked this motel online with a request for a bottom room as we had a dog traveling with us. The staff was very nice and acknowledged pleasantly. The room was quiet and it was very clean especially the bathroom! They had 2 water bottles in the room and enough coffee packs for 3 pots which was a nice treat. Wifi was pretty good once you got signed in. The beds were comfy as were the pillows nice a fluffy. over all a very good stay. The funniest part was when I asked the lady manager where she thought we should eat she told us there were 3 restaurants in town all 3 being chinese!
