The beauty of the surf club is it is part of traditional Queensland culture rather than a restaurant moved from somewhere else. I like walking in and being part of a surf life saving club which I don't usually experience back home.
The atmosphere is rowdy and fun. They have live music. I understand they even have a magician on Thursdays. You can watch whatever sport is on the big screen TV - heavily biased towards Rugby league in the winter.
Finding a relaxed, casual place to eat in Noosa isn't always easy for a family of five. Fine dining doesn't really work for young people and we didn't want to do things separately. This is a good compromise.
The menu is broad so there is enough choice to cover everyone. Burgers were popular in our group. We also had the schnitzel and calamari. They do kids meals which includes an ice-cream for dessert. They do like their colesaw so expect plenty of it.
Overall, no one was dissatisifed within our group. You wont be amazed by the quality but you will have a really good time.
