WeI have stayed on many caravan parks throughout the UK over the last 15 years or so, but seldom one as accommodating as Manor Farm Caravan park. Situated in the lush Dorset countryside it really is a hidden gem, not too far from local amenities and far enough from main roads and the busy rail line to maintain beautiful tranquillity.
The site it's self is kept pristine, dogs are exercised off site so apart from two or three yappy rascals you would think it was dog free, the same with children which while welcome tend to be well behaved. The layout of the site is of particular interest to us as I have a very large American travel trailer which can be awkward to position, the Proprietor Jane is expert at guiding caravans into seemingly difficult pitches, pitch which I must add have ample room for awning and car parking!
Jane does her utmost to ensure you comfort during the stay and is happy to offer help and advice to anyone who requires it.
The facilities are good and clean albeit the 20p showers shouldn't break the bank, a polite and to the point notice reminding campers not to put wipes down the loo smacks of frustration, I get that totally and don't understand why responsible adults still do it.

On the whole I have nothing but praise form the campsite and it's management
I would certailny consider a seasonal pitch here should I ever require it and hope to return in the not too distant future

1 year on moved pitch and am extremely happy!
The distance between vans is cosy it is legal ,although happy to park in front of van !
Owner runs a tight ship with sensible rules that makes for a well run caring site!
Just what I was looking for!

Pitches very close together, so much so that it felt like we were staying in a car park. No room to sit out and enjoy any good weather. Way too many seasonal pitches, making the site crowded but lifeless. Nothing like the pictures on the website.
So many rules that we felt that we couldn't relax, and the way that the rules are presented is downright rude! To be told in a notice to STOP putting wipes down the toilet when we had only just arrived seems over the top.
If you want a shower, you need to get undressed before inserting your coin in the slot. But the slot is outside of the shower! Personally, I'd rather not parade in the communal shower block in the nude. And why is there a charge anyway? We were already paying for an electric hook up. Just another way to fleece the punter, I suppose.
We knew that we had to exercise our dog off site, but again to be told which way to walk along a public highway smacks of totalitarianism. The charge for the dog was, in our opinion, too high when he was unable to leave the van at any time.
Finally, at other sites, the owner generally checks that the visitors are happy once they are settled. Here, there was nothing.
Overall, we felt that we were an inconvenience, and that it was only our fees that mattered. We will NOT be returning.

Wonderful family run site! Small and beautifully kept!
Dogs allowed under strict rules you would never know they were on site!
Just what I was looking for! Very happy customer booked in for seasonal pitch again next year!

This is a lovely family run site. Small but perfectly formed. The shower and toilet block is spotlessly clean... something that other sites could certainly learn from. It is well situated for a number of attractions and areas of interest. We were reliant upon travelling by bicycle (as we had a hired motorhome) but were within easy reach of Monkey World, the Tank Museum, Wareham, Corfe Castle, Lulworth Cove, Lulworth Castle, Durdle Door and Arne RSPB reserve.

Room tip: Hard standing is guaranteed to be level.
