We visited this restaurant July last year, but I still have the night clear in my mind. The location is probably not the most visited in the region, but this restaurant is definitely worth a detour itself. (The restaurant also rent out a few rooms. We were not aware, so we book an Airbnb close by instead).
It’s a family driven business and the atmosphere is very relaxed and comfortable. The food is mainly local or even homemade. The service holds a Michelin standard even though the prices are still very resendable.
By the way, don’t forget to check out the family’s small whole sale down along the main road, before you leave the village next morning. There you can buy several of the delicious items from the night. To be more specific: Well aged ham, fantastic salami etc.
