This restaurant should come up under "Things To Do in Medellin". In addition to great food and service, a fun atmosphere, great colonial architecture, affordable prices (US$ 14 for a deliciously tender steak) and one of the best views of Medellin at night, they do a horse show while you dine. I don't want to let the cat out of the bag, because the surprise is part of the experience. The show doesn't start until 9, so make a reservation for no earlier than 8:30. Walk the gardens and check out the stables before dinner. Buy a ticket at the bar for a carriage ride (about $2 per person) after the show. The show is great for groups, singles, couples,or families. Cabs have a hard time finding it, so google it and give the driver some assistance getting there. The cab right will cost about $22,000 pesos (about US$ 7). Call your reservation in well in advance. They get booked. I tried to reserve online via their web site and never received confirmation, so either call or have the hotel concierge call for you.
