“Perfect relaxation”
Reviewed September 10, 2016 for a stay in August 2016

The chalet was a little worn, but this made it homely and welcoming. It is not a purpose built soulless accommodation with no room to swing a cat! The beds are all clean and comfortable, the living room spacious and the kitchen serviceable.
The Glen has outstanding views. Outside the garden has ample room for children to play or adults to chill, the private beach is just a few steps away and disappears at high tide when larger boats navigate in and out of Waterford Bay.
A local shop about 5 minutes away sells just about all you will need for your stay, the staff are all polite and friendly and will recommend places to eat/ visit .
Waterford, via the ferry, and Wexford are both worth a visit. The Bull Market in Wexford is a shoppers paradise with everything from music/ hand crafted wooden objects,( The "Round Tuit is a must have!)/and the most amazing handmade hats.

“Beautiful Location”
Reviewed August 18, 2016 for a stay in July 2016

Stayed at the cottage for two weeks with my wife, nineteen year old and twins of eight, eldest slept in his own room which was perfectly adequate single bed, twins shared a room with two single beds, both said they were very comfy, myself and my wife slept in the main room with a double bed and also a single bed. All rooms had enough wardrobe space and each room also had a sink!. Bathroom had everything you need electric shower, sink and heated towel rail. Separate toilet. Kitchen was not modern but had everything you could want even tea towels. There were clean towels in every room and the beds were made up for our arrival, caretaker was there when we arrived very friendly and helpful, showed us everything we needed to know and said we could contact her if we needed to.
Living room\dinning room was spacious with a beautiful outlook to the estuary and harbour. Outside was spacious with plenty of room for the children to play safely. We even had horses in the next field which were lovely to watch and the female horse even gave birth whilst we were there so the children had a new experience.
Your paying for the location, the views are amazing, the cottage is so quiet and peaceful, you have your own little private pebble beach and can just watch the world go by. I sat most mornings watching the boats with a cup of coffee. A perfect relaxing holiday with friendly people, no traffic and happy children, What more could you ask for!!!.

“Beautiful location, house a disapointment”

We had stunning views from the property and garden, a little stoney private beach at the end of the garden and all of this was great. However, the house itself was very rough around the edges, damp and in need of modernisation and a overhaul in most of the rooms. The kitchen was very old fashioned and the smallest bedroom was barely passable to sleep in.
