We were visiting the region mid-week during the most quiet time of the year when most restaurants are on holiday. We were surprised to find Les Loges open and willing to seat us and while we were driving there stressed about what we were likely to find given that we would likely be the only diners.
In the end the evening could not have gone better. I started with the foie gras and then the rack of lamb, both of which were great. The great surprise was the goat's milk sorbet which was delicious and served at exactly the right temperature and consistency. Dessert consisted of four tastings, all terrific.
The restaurant was a brief ten-minute drive off the main road from Prades.
