I did not stay here in the home/resort but visited for the day as part of a cruise ship visit and tour in Labadee. It was fun to learn some of the history, traditions, culture, music, dance, food, medicine and drinks. A very nice getaway and distraction from the world for sure.

My husband and I went to this romantic and beautiful Haitian owned bed and breakfast. It was just what we needed- a break from the hustle and bustle of life in a serene and beautiful beachfront location. The accommodations weren’t extravagant - just the essentials. There was lots of lush tropical nature to appreciate. The only things we would change was to have more food options (with Cormier Plage a boat taxi away it wasn’t so bad) and more mosquito repellent.

I thoroughly enjoyed my 3 days seeing the town, the tradition shows in the garden, eating fish at Belly Beach, and especially conversing with owner Angelique, Norm's widow. It's best to book in advance or call them since they will then stock up on food if they have bookings. They couldn't serve me any dinner since I hadn't booked in advance. Loved strolling around the garden, seeing the old sugar furnace and other curiosities it contains.

The local handicrafts and products were available and priced in a reasonable way. The people were welcoming and proud to share their country. Wood carvings, metalwork, textiles, jewelry and many other crafts were shown.

Relaxing in a beautifully maintained Lush yard filled with sculptures and art.
Super sweet owner Angelique spins colorful tales of the area.
Food was very good. Freshly caught Lobster and Fish.Tasty Goat stew or Beef. All was prepared and served lovingly. Staff was super sweet and helpful. Met nice locals who showed us around the village and surrounding area. We Really enjoyed. Not so much luck with the weather so no boat trip to Ile a Rat or Kadras cove. Definitely will return .
