A local wine bar referred us to al Giardino in Taormina and it was a most enjoyable recommendation! A family owned/managed ristorante, it delivered on delicious fare and warm, friendly service. We started with fried ricotta cheese balls with honey and mussels carbonara, followed by a tagliatelle pasta with shrimp and pistachio cream sauce - delish! The ambience was cozy and welcoming, with a sweet garden theme in keeping with the local Villa Comunale Gardens nearby. Local wines offered by the glass, with a decent wine list by the bottle. Genuine, local feel with sincere love of food and hospitality - highly recommend!
