It is said that at any time 1 in 2 of the guests have stayed at the hotel before and it’s easy to see why.
Located on the tranquil and idyllic hideaway of the beautiful Cap Estate the hotel offers so much to so many. As many others we
The staff, location, food, amenities and everything concerning the resort could not be bettered in the Caribbean.
The Staff
They are without doubt the stars of the show. They are well-trained, courteous, warm, welcoming and always greet you with a warm smile. More over unlike many larger hotel operators they are allowed to think for themselves and put right any little problem on the spot. They are helpful, friendly, attentive and trained to a very high standard. They are always smiling and they make the place a delight to visit.
Activities
You may participate in as much or as little activity as you wish, there is no pressure, so don’t be put off by thinking the resort is full of keep fit fanatics however if you wished to fill you day from dusk to dawn with activities its easily done.
That said you may throw yourself into the countless activities available each and every day.
The Spa
The staff at the spa are well trained and pleasant. The treatments are varied and the ability to switch treatments is always available.
Tendells Treatment
If you have never had a Bhutanese massage it’s a must as Tendell offers the most relaxing and invigorating massage on the resort. I guarantee you we leave walking on air. It’s a must do but book early as he gets very busy.
Pools & Beach
There are two pools and a well-kept clean beach. (There is another pool up at the spa)
The Restaurants
Three restaurants and an all day deli cater of every taste. The main restaurant is more formal with an extensive choice of at least four main and four first courses.
TAO is a little more difficult to obtain a reservation and is east west fusion restaurant.
The clubhouse is overlooking the sea and runs a buffet most nights and waiter service on one night.
Its location is superb with the Caribbean sea lapping up to the pristine beach.
Particular thanks to Sandy, Martina, Wendell, Zane, Javid and all of the team for making this a wonderful vacation.
The main restaurant is Carib Blue, which has four choices of entrée, main and dessert. Carib blue windows, which offers a tapas style taster and the beach restaurant that offers an excellent buffet.
In particular thanks to the ever-cheerful Alison and the ever-helpful Sherman and of course the wonderful Joseph who is great on the Friday night sunset cruise.
The activities team and water sports
The activities team are helpful and supportive and seem to be available at any time. The water sports team offer first class wake boarding, water ski and hobi cat lessons are once again could not be more helpful. The team in the centre are attentive and have great empathy with the guest’s. In particular thanks to Sherman and Dennis.
The rooms
The rooms are arguably the best in the Caribbean and the amenities provided ample. I believe some are due for an upgrade this summer, taking into account it is the Caribbean the rooms were clean and well appointed (no TV’s but a big screen TV is in the Library)
The piano bar and entertainment
The Piano bar
It’s a great place to meet before or after dinner with the incomparable Alfred playing five nights a week. The entertainment is arranged nightly however it does not take over the resort as it does in many hotels.
There are different bands playing every night until 11. All of them are excellent and they play in the beach restaurant area.
The Gym and activities team
The team are most helpful and always greet you with enthusiasm no matter what your age and ability and are always willing to help. The gym is well appointed with everything you could ever wish to have.
All in all an experience that’s hard to beat.
