Amelie is a wonderful host - very warm and welcoming and she and her mother are both wonderful cooks - beautiful breakfasts and delightful dinners! We stayed in the atelier, which was beautifully decorated and a great place for a romantic and relaxing holiday. I especially appreciated the fact that Amelie went out of her way to accommodate my special dietary needs, particularly as the new dietary restrictions were quite new for me. She also recommended an excellent restaurant for a special celebration as well as other places which we would not have wanted to miss. Thank you very much for such an enjoyable stay.

Room Tip: The atelier is best for couples as it has a narrow spiral staircase to the bedroom, so probably would not be so suitable for small children or someone with mobility problems.

3 days here during our 10 day break to France, really was not enough. We were relaxed within hours of arriving, we were welcomed to the property as if we were old friends.

The accommodation was high class and stylish, the wine delicious and the food was divine and amazing value - the only problem being was that we couldn't eat there every night! That said, Amelie organised a reservation for us to enjoy a regional dish (cassoulet) at the restaurant featured by the Hairy Bikers! Breakfast was a relaxed affair, with no time limitations which meant we could be as go getting or relaxed as we wanted and they catered for both for us.

There is lots to do in the area and Amelie gave us lots of good tips, she organised bikes for us to cycle to Carcasonne (even arranged for a safe place for us to leave our bikes) and great bookings for wine tasting.

An amazing place, run by kind and friendly hosts, we will return.

A great welcome from Amelie herself made one feel most welcome. Her mother cooks the food which was interesting and good. Our room was nicely decorated with a good bathroom en suite.
A delicious plate of fresh fruit at breakfast supported fresh croissants and jams.
Altogether a great place to stay in the Carcassonne area.

A wonderful hotel. Great food, individually decorated rooms in a building full of character and extensive grounds where you can find space to relax in the shade (or even relax in a hammock). The breakfast is really worth getting up for, natural food wonderfully prepared and served at a suitably relaxed holiday time and pace. The evening meals are similarly memorable. We sampled two rooms during our stay and both were stylish and comfortable with spacious showers. You can explore the nearby countryside and Carcassone or simply relax by the pool. We are already of thinking of returning. Special mention also to Amelie for looking after us so well.

Room Tip: All rooms have differing space and facilities so look to ensure you have chosen best for your individual needs.
