We had trouble finding a hotel in Bude which would take us with our miniature poodle so we decided to try self-catering at Broomhill Manor - what a great decision! Seagull was perfect for us and we really enjoyed the space, the excellent facilities and the freedom it gave us. The weather was terrible but we still had a lovely time. There are lots of walks, Bude is a super place and we used Broomhill Manor's facilities to the full. We will definitely return and hopefully have better weather to get in the sea pool and on to the golf course.

Room Tip: All the cottages look fine

Hi Barry,
Many thanks for your review and my apologies for taking so long to reply. We really value guest feedback and we are so glad that the dog-friendly cottage worked out well for you.
We are hoping to get all the bad weather out of the way ready for guests arriving next week for the Christmas and New Year break, but we can't promise, of course!
We look forward to welcoming you back - perhaps in the spring when the days are longer and the daffs are out!
Kind Regards, Alan and Linda

This was the second time we have stayed here and the Estate is excellent. Great facilities in a wonderful location. Great for young families with pony riding, swimming, and other activities on site. Bude is also a lovely town with good shops and an excellent beach. Highly recommended

Thank you so much for your review - we are so glad that you enjoyed Broomhill Manor enough to repeat the experience!! We moved here when our own kids (twins) were just going on 4 years old and I agree - it was tremendously helpful to have so much here on site to keep young children happy and content! In the 11 years we have been here we have seen Bude blossom - as you say it is a lovely town and with great beaches and an excellent choice of places to eat and nice individual shops.
Thank you for recommending and we hope to see you again at Broomhill Manor,
Many thanks, Alan and Linda

The title says it all. I have Cerebral Palsy which affects my balance down my right side which affects my balance. We enjoyed an hour horse ride along country lanes and enjoying the glorious sunshine. I can recommend Queenie and Milo who are laid back horses and a pleasure to ride.
Ellie and the team were very friendly and easy to get on with.
Thanks for a great ride.

Had a relaxing stay at Broomhill Manor. It was baby friendly with accessories having being provided with no extra charge (cot, highchair, steriliser, blackout blinds, and baby monitor). The play room was great for a 10 month old to crawl around. There were free laundry facilities which was so convenient for our 6 day stay, I particularly enjoyed the grounds, swimming pool and jacuzzi. Massage treatments with Hazel were wonderful! Near supermarkets and Bude .. would love to visit again. Highly recommend.

Thank you for your lovely review and we are really pleased that you had a relaxing holiday, which is not always the easiest thing with a little one! I'm glad you enjoyed the facilities and were happy with the baby equipment - I don't know how you anyone would fit it all in the car if you had to bring your own!
Hazel is a gem - you have reminded me just how good her massages are! I will pass on your appreciation!
Thanks again for the review and recommendation and we hope we can welcome you back in the future! Best wishes, Linda and Alan

We came to Broomhill Manor last summer with our 3yr old granddaughter and enjoyed the child-friendly facilities, Alan and Linda's warm welcome, the spotless cottage and the close proximity to some of England's best beaches. So when we got together to decide what we should do for our family this year, we looked at a lot of options, none of which seemed right...then I said: what about Broomhill Manor? And got a unanimous YES.
So far the weather has been kind to us...on the beach, playing on the swings and in the playroom, walking in the gardens... till today, when it rained. But that's what we like about Broomhill Manor. A lazy morning, some shopping in Bude 5 mins away, lunch around the table, then watching the little one practicing her breast stroke in the indoor swimming pool and finally off to The Olive Tree for an early supper. Now sitting comfortably enjoying a coffee and chatting. I'm on holiday! Off to Padstow tomorrow. Bet you aren't having such a good time!

Thank you so much for this - you paint a fantastic picture of your holiday. Makes us wish we were there with you - oh, wait a minute, we are!!
It's great to hear also that you compared lots of options, and still came back to Broomhill!
Your suggestion hopefully puts you in your family's good books for coming up with the idea to return!
We are delighted that you enjoy the local beaches - we really are lucky to be so close to such a fabulous sandy coastline.
Hope you enjoyed the rest of the week as much. It has been lovely to welcome you back and long may your excellent holiday ideas get the family vote!
All the best, Linda and Alan
