A good half hour drive from Ajaccio including 10km of typical winding roads to reach the village which is hooked on a steep hill. But the reward is the awesome view especially at sunset ! The village itself has some charming little streets near the hotel.
The concrete building isn't ageing too well ; the owners family is looking at renovating it though. A beautiful terrace welcomes diners all day but the best time is in the evening (beautiful wine list and great Corsican cuisine with very fresh and tasty ingredients).
Rooms are of adequate size, with a terrace. Amenities are simple and probably date back a good 40 years. Small kitchen area. No airconditioning. Basic soap and shampoo available. Also, the sound insulation is poor. That's the main negative point of the hotel.
Good breakfast with local jams and honey.
Staff is very welcoming and helpful with activities and such.
Unless you are very sensitive to your neighbor's sounds, this place is highly recommended.More
