I came here so many times, yet I never get tired of their food, rather I love it even more. They serve beautifully decorated and entrees, always fresh and delicious, at the size of a bite. The starters are so very very good. I recommend the try rice with mushrooms, their specialty. In addition, the restaurant is cleaned, well decorated. A perfect place to have a relaxing dinner.

I have eaten here a few times on business trips and always had a terrific meal. This summer I was able to take my wife here as our last meal of our vacation. The seafood come fresh from the sea here. We had the antipasti de mare which was 13 courses of cooked and raw seafood. Each dish was a different vegetable pairing or different style of preparation. The staff and owner were so attentive and friendly. I highly recommend.

I visited this restaurant for a lunch with my parents and I was delighted with both the quality of the food and the friendliness of the service.
The choices of the day were listed by the helpful staff. We started with their trademark, the delicious and eclectic antipasti of the house, an array of different creative bites all fish based. The ingredients and creative combinations of the antipasti change over time to present an always somewhat new offer. We ordered a bottle of Vermentino, light and pleasant, that was a very good match with the seafood.
After the antipasti, that are quite filling, my parents asked for a first course, risotto with mushroom, zucchini and prawns and maltagliati with seafood amatriciana respectively, while I ordered a sea bass in salt crust, accompanied by cicoria as side dish. My parents were happy with their choice and I was too: the sea bass was tremendously fresh and cooked to perfection.
I was way too full for dessert, so I just ordered a lemon sorbet, while my mother had the chocolate and cream tart which was truly delicious (I tried a bite or two…).
Last but not least I found the prices to be quite reasonable given the quality offered.
If you are in the neighborhood and love seafood, you can’t go wrong by going to La Lampara!

Here is a wonderful restaurant where you can have the finest seafood
served with Old World class and charm.
This restaurant on the Anzio shore is worth the drive from
Rome or from wherever you come.
The gracious owner Gino is there to give you personal service and
his wife, a fantastic chef, is the mastermind of the exquisite meals presented in a
dizzying parade of dishes of the best seafood in the world
Nando, a totally cool guy, brings you one dish after another of beautifully presented courses.
Try this delightful restaurant and I'm sure you'll agree
