My wife (6 months pregnant) and I stayed at La Mola June 2006 for 4 nights. It was a great experience. The directions on the website were a bit lacking so it took some local directions to get there. The house is perched on the edge of a cliff above the coast with the Amalfi Coast away in the distance across the bay. The rooms were spacious and the breakfasts on the balcony were great. The host was simply lovely. We ate in one night with a four course menu of local seafood - fantastic, although more pricey than the local restaurants!
La Mola is on the edge of a medieval village which has no cars - you cross the road and wind your way through the many paths and discover the church or the piazza as you go! It really is lovely. There are some nice restaurants - Il Divino (I think) in the main piazza was fantastic.
The beach is a 10 minute drive down the windy (but good) road, although most of the beaches seemed to be private there was what appeared to be a safe public beach (small). There are also lots of restaurants, shops etc.More
