What an amazing tasting experience! This was a fairly random find as we were driving through the roads of Chianti. We had no reservation but they were kind enough to allow us to join a tasting that had just started (I recommend making a reservation, but you could also get lucky like us!). What made this tasting so special was the variety of products created at this farm - we not only tasted excellent Chianti and even Prosecco, but also olive oil, 30 year old Balsamic Vinegar, truffles foraged on their property, and honey produced by their bees. The tasting (25 euro/pp) includes all of this AND food, like bruschetta, Tuscan salad, eggs with truffle and ice cream with balsamic. Highly recommend!

We just had a fantastic tour and tasting at Casanova winery. The space is beautiful, the hosts are knowledgeable and excellent and you can tell they are really passionate about what they do. The thoughtful tasting showcased the wines and other products they produce but most importantly the wines were all delicious. We ordered some to be shipped to us and will probably be ordering more. Would love to go back if we cna and would definitely recommend a visit.

I can't really add much, but let me join the chorus. Lunch here was fantastic. If you are touring Chianti, give yourself the gift of eating lunch here. Also, bring cash to pay for your 50ish Euro lunch.

This organic vineyard is unique in the Tuscany region because they product organic wines and balsamic vinegar and they hunt white truffles. Go for the tour, stay for the lunch. Come hungry, leave happy. The food is absolutely amazing. The hosts are warm and informative. They cater beautifully to children and dietary restrictions.

On a recent tour we had told our guide that we would like to go to a winery for lunch. He took us to Casanova and what a great experience. Silvano is extremely passionate about his products from balsamic vinegar to his wine. He is a gracious host with a wonderful warm personality that makes you feel immediately welcome. After a short tour of the winery, we sat down for lunch. Great food and wine pairing including truffle topped scrambled eggs. Another one of Silvano’s passions. His wife Rita is an outstanding chef and also offers cooking classes. Dessert was ic e cream topped with some of their 30 year old balsamic vinegar. It IS that good. Products are available to purchase and they will ship directly to your door. The setting among the olive trees and the vineyards is relaxing. If you are anywhere close make sure you call and get a reservation.
