We did not stay at Hotel Garden, but we found out that you can swim or get a massage here for very reasonable rates. It was 11 Euros for 4 hrs swimming. The pools are about 90F (they are fed from a hot spring) and about 4 ft deep. They have jets and waterfalls in various places, and you can go from inside to outside without leaving the pool. There is a luncheon counter where you can get sandwiches, juices, pizza and salads. You are given a waterproof wristband when you enter, it opens your locker, and if you get lunch, you hold it up to the reader and pay when you are leaving the pool for the day, so you don't have to carry money or go down to your locker for cash. The locker rooms are super clean and nicely laid out. I wish we had found this sooner, for us tourists who are sprinting around the hill towns, it makes a nice recovery afternoon. I would have given it an excellent, but we did not go into the hotel, I didn't even know it was attached to a hotel, so I can't rate that part.

I stayed in this hotel from 12.04.2015 to 19.04.2015 with Group of 20 people. The atmosfere and service was very nice. Hotel is clean and owners are very friendly. For the price you pay you can't expect five star hotel but you get really good service. I recomend this hotel for people who would like to do some siteseeing in Toscany.

The St Vincent Singers & friends have just spent 5 days at Hotel Garden, Chianciano Terme, in Tuscany. Irene, the hotel's owner, ably assisted by her son, Paolo, plus a small but very dedicated staff, entertained us royally. The choir used this hotel as a base before visiting and singing at Siena, and San Gimignano, and visiting Pisa and the Chianti Valley.

Irene and her son & staff, could not do enough to make us feel welcome, despite the language barrier at times!

The bedrooms, some with balconies overlooking the Tuscan hills, were always most comfortable and came with a safe and television.

The dinners showed flair and originality, including locally sourced boar, delicious pasta dishes and hand picked cherries. Nothing was too much trouble and all the staff were keen to please .
Continental breakfasts also showed variety with fresh rolls, local cheese, cold meats and sponge cakes.

Being a town with several local spas, there was the opportunity to go swimming and 'try the waters'.

The garden was ideal for soaking up the sun before and after meals, and we would have no hesitation in recommending Irene's hospitality and hugs at Hotel Garden!

Room Tip: The front bedrooms were large with balconies with room enough to sit in the sun and admire the scenery.

Lovely relaxing place to get some sun very clean and as we were the only English there surprisingly the staff spoke good English as we new little Italian. Only drawback was the insects got bitten alive and you have to wear a swimming hat its the LAW (we didn't know) but you can buy them at the bar for 1 EUR, Open until midnight so you can swim in the dark if you wish would highly recommend it.

We spent a night here as a 'mature' family. The lady in charge was incredibly welcoming and friendly, despite the language barrier as she does not speak much English.

The rooms are very clean and tidy, however a little dated. Rooms had TV's and most had balconies with lovely views.

Breakfast included the usual continental breakfast, including a home baked cake...which was delicious!

For dinner we travelled to Montepulciano, which if you have the time is a must! It's very picturesque and so lovely to walk around the cobblestone streets. We watched the sunset over the Tuscan hills.

If you are looking for clean, fairly basic and very reasonably priced accommodation then this hotel will do you well.

Room Tip: Get a room with a balcony on one of the higher floors if possible.
