This lovely B&B was our first stop on a 5-week adventure. We couldn't have chosen a better place to stay for the first 5 days of our trip! As other reviews have noted, Milena is a warm, charming and very helpful host. We made our way by train from Rome FCO to Chiusi, and Milena picked us up at the station. After a relaxing day of jet lag recovery, which we spent exploring Chiusi (the old town is 1km from the B&B), we picked up our rental car in Chiusi--again, Milena gave us a ride to the Hertz office across the street from the train station. We enjoyed Chiusi, took day trips to Assisi and Montepulciano. Our room was very comfortable, modern bath, good shower. The place has lots of character--an old structure lovingly restored. Breakfast was lovely--lots of delicious sweet temptations as well as breads, cheese, yogurt, fruit, juice, and coffee. We'd love to go back--such a great location for exploring the area--we barely scratched the surface.
Much as we loved this place, it has one full flight of exterior stairs to reach the front door, and another flight inside to reach 3 of the rooms and the breakfast room, so if you have trouble with stairs, this probably isn't a good choice for you. Free parking!

It was a great experience to stay at this B&B. The room is very nice, new and clean. The bed is very comfortable, towels were super good and breakfast was amazing!
totally recommend and if I were to be back in the area, definitely staying again!

We needed a place to stay close to the rental car station in Chiusi for our exploration of Tuscany. We were arriving late from Rome by train so needed a place for just one night. This place was perfect - it was very clean, welcoming, comfortable bed, friendly and welcoming hosts, very close to train station and Europcar rental location. It had been a long tiring day and they offered us a glass of wine upon our arrival. We stayed in Siena after our day of touring - and returned the rental car there which was a nightmare experience. If we were to do it over, we would have booked two nights at L'Albero di Gameli and after touring Tuscany returned back there for another night (instead of staying in Siena) and would have returned the rental car back to Chiusi instead of Siena. The rental car location in Siena for Europcar is far away from the tourist area, and because we dropped the car off after they closed, we had no choice but to start walking aimlessly to try to find our way back to our Siena hotel.

I highly recommend Albero di Gameli B&B as a base to tour Tuscany.

We recently stayed 4 nights at this B&B in Chiusi. The house is very old but has been renovated tastefully and retained many original features. Our room was beautiful - spacious, spotlessly clean and well appointed, with good wifi. Our host, Milena, was wonderful - warm and generous - and went out of her way to make sure we were happy. She picked us up from the station when we arrived and drove us into town whenever she was going if we didn't want to walk. She even provided us with everything we needed for an evening picnic. Breakfast included beautiful cakes made by Milena and cappuccino. Chiusi is a lovely town with some good restaurants and central to other great places like Montelpuciano and Siena. We would recommend this B&B to anyone visiting Tuscany.

Stayed here for a couple of nights because a friend was getting married nearby. A lovely, quiet, friendly little B and B, I would have loved to have stayed longer! Breakfast was great, with lots of choice, and of course, amazing coffee!
