I stayed in Room 40 of the Hotel Touring between 11.00pm and 8.00am. Late check-in was fine but I was given a single room with a tiny bed and with windows about 20 feet from the main road around the lake. Without question it was the noisiest room I have ever tried to sleep in. The double glazing is completely, totally and utterly ineffective. The continual roar of the traffic through the night and the early morning - especially souped-up motor-bikes - is relentless. On no account stay here if you are hoping for a tranquil, restful or peaceful Lake Garda experience. I did not see any of the rooms around the back of the hotel - which is overlooked by other buildings - they may be quieter but the building will still vibrate every time a heavy vehicle goes by.

The shower room is OK, with a shower cap provided. But no soap. Bring your own.

Breakfast was the cheapest processed meats and cheeses. And coffee served from a a very clapped out machine. Not good. There are some freshly made pastries.

I really believe the very nice receptionist should have warned me of the noise when he checked me in - every hotel has a duty of care. Gentle reader, you have been warned.

We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights early June 2017. The room was wonderful. It even had an air conditioner! The view from our window was splendid! You could see such a beautiful panorama of the lake Garda. By walking distance (about 2 minutes) you could reach a little private beach spot :) the best part of the hotel is the staff. Every single person starting from the receptionist Luigi up to the cook Lucia and Pasquale are so friendly and welcoming. They will make you feel like home. They are always on hand if any assistance is needed. Food was always fresh and delicious. Compliments to the chef Lucia! It is a small cosy hotel with wonderful atmosphere! Would recommend it to any age! Everything is within a reachable distance from the hotel. If you are there please take advantage and visit all places around the lake especially Limone, Riva, Sirmione, Lezise, Garda, peschiera del Garda And of course Gardaland! Every place differs from one another!

Photos are an accurate representation of the hotel. Basic, but excellent value for money. Easy access to neighbouring towns Toscalano-Maderno and Saló the latter excelent for shoping, former for eating and drinking. No frills, friendly family-run hotel that served a purporse a stone's throw away from Lake Garda.

Clean, tidy, rooms are basic but how much time do you spend in your room anyway? A little off the beaten track but a short walk gets you into a busier area and about ten minutes away by car is beautiful Saló which is fantastic.
The staff are lovely and friendly, very accommodating and went out of their way to help.
The food at breakfast is basic but fine, we didn't eat here any other time.
Would definitely return if we went back to the Gardone Riviera.

Hotel is quite basic,no frills, very clean, beds and bathroom cleaned daily hosts very friendly and will do everything to access you, their English is Ok. Hotel is a little off the beaten track but there is a good bus service and very reliable,
If you are booking this hotel or any other hotel in Lake Garda make sure you have transfare from the airport because it can be VERY EXPENSIVE AND VERY AWKWARD TO GET TO. Apart from that, it is a fabulous place to holiday

Room Tip: rooms in the front are a little noisy (on main road) but they have shutters so its not a problem
