Had some excellent days of relaxation here. Fantastic view, great service, nice apartments, and if you can get one with a view over the lake, I really recommend that you do.

We actually ended up staying an extra day here. You just don’t want to leave this place.

Been here twice! Once in an apartment in the front of the property, and once in the "hotel" part upstairs with a large apartment.

The views that you get from the facilites are simply breathtaking! Nothing beats a late afternoon when seeing the sun go down and having the entire lake bathe in gold in front of you! Pure bliss! It's almost worth the price of staying a night just for this.

The grounds are very well kept, and provide you with higher experiences than you might have thought to have considering the price per night.

Never tried the restaurant or food facilities. The pool area is also very nice, but the bar is not run by the hotel in case you thought you could "put it on the hotel bill".

Two points to point out on the negative side: A) The apartments in the front can get really hot (especially upstairs) in the heat. Our apartment was not air conditioned (if it was, it didn't work, but I did not see any signs of AC). B) Very cramped space per parking slot. In case the place is full of cars, you will be hard not to feel a "knot in the gut" when leaving a nice car in the garage.

That being said, it's a high value for money location!

Peace & tranquility served up with amazing views gives this property thumbs up from us!

In case you think of visiting the historic center of Gardone and enjoying dinner, you need to know that you WILL need the car. You'll be dead by the time you've received the property walking up hill from the city center.

Just a travel "tip" worth listening to BEFORE attempting yourself. ;)

Our first stay was for a bit more than a week, and the second stay we had was for five days! Would visit again (had it not been for us having purchased a vacational property in the area since our last visit)

Room Tip: The apartment upstairs in the hotels was nice with TWO balconies! Great for extending the evenings with a drink on the terrace!

Difficult to find and a very steep approach. Good parking facilities and a lift from the car park, but it still took 3 lifts to get to some of the rooms as the hotel is on a hillside. Unfortunately, when the reception closes so does the lift to it and so it's not very wheelchair friendly and you need a key to get in if you are staying in the main building. We had a self catering 2 bed apartment which was large and very spacious and had most of what you need but we had to ask for an iron and ironing board and there was no dishwasher. The one bed apartment in he main building was a similar size too but there was another 1 bed apartment with a put up bed in the lounge further back on the site which was tiny in comparison so choose your rooms carefully. Hey we're all clean however the linen and towels were only changed twice a week although for. 10 Euro charge they would change then for you. The pool area was very good and not too busy. The bar food was limited but very good and the prices for food and drink were really good as was the service although a little slow as there was only one lady working there. There was a restaurant by reception but we never saw it open

Very nice place to stay for people, with kids, who want to rest and sit at the pool with a good book. The view is spectacular. There is a parking for your car under the residence and elevators for people to overcome the steep surroundings.

We booked this on spec as a stop off on a road trip to Venice. In all honesty we would have liked to stay longer as it was the perfect place for a young family to stay: basic but clean apartment (could have been better equipped in the kitchen and the air con wasn't all that, but definitely workable), great pool and pool bar, and a location that's pretty hard to beat. Also incredibly reasonable even in high season. Definitely recommended.
