This is a great little hotel a bit up the hill from the lake, a nice and quiet location with great views. The staff was super friendly and everything was nice and clean.
Breakfast was good and the bar served drinks and lighter meals at the pool. The hotel doesn't have a restaurant but the lake shore is only a 5 minute walk with plenty to choose from (I really recommend Winnie's Bar at the Grand Hotel for a snack and a drink).
We booked a deluxe room with a balcony to enjoy the view. We had a look at the simpler rooms and they felt a bit older and worn so the upgrade was well worth it.
Just to explain my 3* star rating then, the hotel was good in every way but for the fairly high price we paid we expected nothing less so as far as value goes, it didn't exceed our expectations.More
