Very nice family hotel in the villa, just 2 minutes away from the small streets of the town centre and 5 minutes walk from the beach and railway station. The room had a marble floor, old-style furniture and an air conditioner. But travellers must be warned: family hotel is always relaxed-if you want a daily change of bed or a richer breakfast opt for a chain hotel.

We stayed here for one night and were luckily able to upgrade to a better room. The initial one we booked via booking.com was a tiny dark non-air conditioned room with teeny tiny bathroom in the basement. It had a barred window to the outside sitting area of the restaurant and was just plain aweful.

We upgraded ourselves for 20 EUR more to an upstairs room (I think 36) which was much better and most importantly ir conditioned - we had 35C all day long.

We liked the proximity to the beach (pebbles, bring flip flops!) and the historic center with many nice restaurants. The hotel has parking on the hotel grounds.

Breakfast was Italian and apart from the coffee not too exciting ;)

Hotel Villa Fieschi is absoutly remarkable, friendly, luxirous.
My family of five stayed here for three days in two different rooms, we were treated like royalty, we felt like royalty. Do not miss out on staying at Hotel Villa Fieschi.

The town of Lavagna is so nice we cant wait to return. The shops, diners and market were so close to the Villa even the beach. The map make things look farther away than they are as they are not.

Simply put this is a perfect get away

Sincerly,
The Turk Family
