Excellent free hotel parking. Very ample and varied self serve breakfast Lovely lounge area and patio. Available gym facilities, clean rooms and if you get a balcony room, great view. Note front of the Hotel faces the street but there is a reserved area to park and unload your bags and check-in. Hotel will direct you to their private parking Back of hotel faces a marina, a lovely boardwalk, running and bike paths and the gym facilities. Ideal place for mature couples touring nearby famous Riviera towns, wanting a place to relax and/or wishing sporting facilities.

We arrived only to discover that the location of the hotel wasn’t to our needs due to my husbands walking restrictions - I knew the pool was located away from the hotel but the walk and steps weren’t suitable. The walk into the town again was longer than expected.
Despite this the hotel was lovely - very clean, excellent amenities and the staff were very friendly.
The room, a quadruple, was slightly on the small size but again very clean.
The breakfast in the morning was varied and tasty - again staff were very helpful. A great hotel but just it for us due to location.

What more to be said, friendly staff that also makes good cocktails, they have a pool and a gym. Very close to the beach etc. Rooms were spacious and clean. We would absolutely go here again if we're in the area.

We stayed here en route to Cortona and the hotel kindly reserved one of their parking slots for us on the street.
It is located between the railway line and the sea, so took some finding. There are a couple of underpasses from the land side which you need to look out for.
Only a 6/7 minute walk from the restaurant area, so no problem.the hotel sits between 2 streets running parallel to the coast/railway line. The railway outlook is not salubrious, but we walked in to town without any worry.
We had drinks outside in the evening and it was all very pleasant and it leads to conversations with other guests.
Good breakfast and good room

Room tip: Ask for a marina room

We picked the hotel for its location and facilities. In reality we found the hotel exceeded our expectations. We chose a room facing the marina and this was excellent. With air-con and a fridge we had everything we required. Previous reviews mention poor wifi but we found it excellent with only minor interruptions.
The location was marvellous - close to the beach, the Marine pool, shops and restaurants, ferry services and the train station. It's rare to find this perfect combination.
Breakfast was really good with many selections on offer. All the basics were there together with cakes, pastries, scrambled eggs and bacon and fruit etc.
Staff on reception are friendly and very helpful as are the two ladies at breakfast time.
As previous reviewers have said, Lavagna is not a pretty town but it is functional ie everything you want you can get. Good selection of restaurants - we went to half-dozen or so. Food in each one was really good although nothing spectacular.
This is one of the best holidays abroad that we have had.

Room tip: Sea view on third or fourth floors
