We stayed at Villa Maseria for 5 days at the end of March and had a great stay. The villa is well located being a 5 minute drive outside of Lecce and a minute from the highway ( which you cannot hear from the house. When we first arrived it was a little difficult to find the villa as it is not on a named street or signposted. However once you now where it is, it's easy to find. The villa is part of small compound with a number of other residences set around a courtyard. The accommodation itself is beautifully decorated and very comfortable (Elena the owner is an architect and designer). There is great natural light throughout and the bedrooms are comfortable. If you stay for a long time and wish to cook the kitchen does lack a few essentials but if you just want to have breakfast and lunch it is perfectly adequate. There is a nice communal garden and a pool (which was closed as we were there out of season). We had a bit of a problem with the WiFi but Elena sorted it out immediately. Elena was a very good host and brought us food from the bakery on a couple of mornings. I would definitely recommend Villa Maseria and if we ever go back to Lecce and Puglia would defiintely stay there again.
