Me, my wife and 4 year old son recently stayed at the Capri as we was attending a wedding in Malcesine and absolutely loved the place. The best thing about this place is the staff, all polite and helpful and always smiling.
We was allocated a room on the second floor which looked out onto the back so missed out on the lake view. The room was a little dated but more than sufficient for our stay. We did see the room across from ours one morning as they were cleaning and the views out were spectacular and the room a lot more modern so presume they may be updating the rooms slowly.

As mentioned the staff were brilliant helping out with taxis, meal times and just general
Information. A special thanks to Erika, Emile and Marko who took the time out to always make a fuss over our little boy making him smile and really enjoy the place even more.

Good selection of breakfast and the evening meals were fantastic, you get allocates a table for the week which was nice as we got to speak to a lovely couple most nights. We tried so many different things and really enjoyed the food (and wine) so much.

We found the hot tub on the last day and had already been enjoying pool even if it was a little chilly.

Location wise only a 5-10 minute stroll into the centre.

Really hope to visit again and would recommend the hotel to everyone a real Gem.

We have just returned from a week's holiday at the Hotel Capri in Malcesine, Lake Garda. We were enormously pleased with everything about this hotel. Our room with balcony had a lovely view overlooking the lake. It is a family run hotel and this seemed to provide an exceptionally happy and friendly environment. Within a few hours of being in the hotel we had begun to relax and recover from the stresses of Gatwick Airport.
Meals were taken in the attractive and bright dining room or on the terrace. The choice and quality of food were the best we have experienced in many years of travel and this is matched by the quality of service.
Malcesine is certainly one of our favourite holiday resorts with so many places to visit either by the excellent ferry boats or further afield by bus or coach. The castle is the centre piece of the town and is unmissable.
The only down side to the hotel is that you have to go up several flights of steps and cross a busy main road to get to it from the lake side but you are rewarded with superb views.
All in all an exceptional holiday - many thanks to the family and staff of the Hotel Capri.

Room Tip: Lake view with balcony

We've just returned today after a brilliant weeks holiday at the Hotel Capri, 24th to 31st May.
The staff are really friendly and very efficient throughout the hotel, food is very good,I can't understand why this is only a 3 star hotel, it has everything, wellness centre, gym, pool, garden, and a fabulous location. The rooms are very trendy, recently upgraded, and to a very good standard. The dining area offers fabulous views on the lake, as it's sits on the hillside so bear this in mind before booking as there are a lot of steps up to the hotel. Malcesine is a brilliant resort to stay in, with lots of things to do, Monte Baldo is a must really, fab views of the lake, ferry's to all of the lake resorts, and an array of great excursions to go on.
We stayed in room 66 on the 3rd floor with great views, the rooms and the hotel are exceptionally clean, we loved it, and will return, thanks to everyone at the Hotel Capri.

We were two couples visiting Lake Garda to celebrate our Golden Weddings and Hotel Capri helped us to have a visit to remember and cherish. From attentive and friendly staff, through delicious food and stunning lakeside views, everything is geared to offer you a wonderful and relaxing holiday.
It is also very easy, from this base, to use public transport to visit other lake locations, such as Bardolino, Garda and, especially, a liitle gem called Torri del Benaco (not to be missed).
A guest, John, from Yorkshire, was on his 24th visit to the hotel and was very helpful in guiding us to various attractions, such as the Oasi Bar, down by the lake, excellent value, the ferry across to Limone and the local Tourist Bus, which gives a superb local tour for 1.20 euros.
All in all a wonderful 10 days in an excellent hotel.

Just returned from Malcesine ,lake Garda, stayed at the Capri Hotel and I have to say that this family run hotel is the best I have ever stayed in. The manager and all the staff were fantastic, extremely helpful catering for your every need. The food was delicious.
On arrival we were upgraded to the villa at no extra cost. We had amazing views of the lake and surrounding mountains. If you book a holiday this year it has to be Malcesine and the Capri hotel. I cannot praise this hotel and the staff enough. Dream holiday, Perfect.

Room Tip: Villa is excellent.
