This is a lovely family run hotel and everyone that works here are so pleasant and caring, thinking 5 star, hence my review. Yes the rooms are dated, BUT clean and always beautifully kept with lots of wardrobe space. Yes the meal in the evening @ 7pm may be too early for some, but the food is lovely and they accommodate you if you have some issues with the choice of menu and try to accommodate your fads!

Room tip: Front view of the lake with a backdrop to die for. Back overlooks pool and quieter, overlooked by beautiful mountains.

was not our first stay here and we returned due to the hotels location, fantastic lake views and most of all the friendly family that runs it who make you feel at home.Nothing was to much trouble. Definitely be returning!

Room tip: rooms at the front overlook the lake, the rear over the pool and gardens

We stayed here for a week and were entirely satisfied with our choice. The location, though a 40 minute walk into town, was ideal, just the road's width from the lake so the views are to die for. All you need is available locally and if you like to stroll you can head in either direction along the lakeside and enjoy the atmosphere. The rooms are comfortable and the balcony is a bonus, we were at the rear, overlooking the pool area and the mountains which was lovely and quieter than the front. The restaurant was well serviced, the choice at the buffet breakfast was more than adequate and the dinners were substantial and good. The bar was moderately priced and sitting out on the terrace overlooking the lake was a joy. All in all a jolly good place to say, two negatives only, take your own coffee if you're a coffee snob like me and dinner is at 7pm, just a tad too early for some.

We had a 10 night stay at the Astoria, pleased with our second floor lake view room. The view was amazing with views to Limone opposite and Riva to the North of the lake.

The room itself was a little dated but plenty of wardrobe space. The air con was only on after 6 though and off again by the morning so rooms do get a little warm!

The restaurant has a great location at the front of the hotel with lake views. Dinner was served and had to be ordered the night before. The food was a bit hit and miss and not always great for vegetarians. On other nights though the food was amazing.

Great pool area and generally really quiet round the pool. Alsatian dog likes to use one corner of the grass area though as its toilet, so choose your longer carefully!

Great spot though and Malcesine is lovely.

It may only say "3 stars" over the door, but everyone who works there thinks "5 star".
Cleanliness, food, situation, value, it is all beyond criticism.
Right on the edge of the PERFECT Lake Garda, this home from home is an ideal holiday spot.
We are World Seasoned travellers, and, it is rare that I praise this highly.
We will surely be back.
Grazie
