A really enjoyable and relaxing break among beautiful scenery. Half board was good value but you might prefer to eat out some of the evenings. The hotel is 15 minutes level stroll to the centre of Malcesine and 5 minutes to the car ferry to Limone which is well worth a visit.

Room Tip: Rooms above level 1 have a better outlook over the lake

We were very happy staying at the Europa Hotel. The room was great and the location of the hotel was perfect. Lakeside and a short pleasant walk in to the town centre. The gym was not up to much but the pool and sun area were good.

We stayed for four nights. We had a comfortable lake-view room on the second floor. The view from the balcony was beautiful. A modern clean hotel, very friendly staff, parking in a private garage. Breakfastbuffet is OK. Hotel is a easy 5-10 minute walk from town. Indoor pool with a open door to the garden, with terras and a bar. The garden is a few steps away from the lake. Rates are very reasonably. Only negative point is that the Wifi was sometimes slow. All in all, we had a very nice stay.

I liked:
Beautiful building, clean rooms

I didn't like the following:
- reception staff weren't friendly following a misunderstanding about check in times and thereafter I didn't feel welcome during my stay

- Rooms are very basic, they don't even have glass cups, only little plastic cups, no kettle

- Complimentary Toiletries are not good quality

- Steam room works only 2 hours per day and it wasn't even switched on during those 2 hours

- The breakfast was good, but atmosphere around not that good, no background music for example

- Wi-if signal is very poor

- Baby cot was given only with extra charge, other hotels was providing it for free

Stayed there for two night with 3 kids. The hotel seats right on the beach. The beach is good for swimming and it's a 5-7 minute walking distance from the town. Breakfast was good and with a variety of cold cuts, cheese, eggs, fruits and more. The hotel is super clean and the staff is s

Our first visit to Italy, I chose this Hotel via a combination of Inghams, Google Earth and Trip advisor.
My research meant that my money was well spent.
A well maintained Family run Hotel in a delightful location right on the shore and near the Ferry to Limone. Friendly and helpful staff, good facilities and a useful beach bar.
You can just chill out on your balcony, the beach or the sun lounge area or take a short walk to the town with its Castle. You can take the Ferry to Limone or on to Riva, You can even go on to Verona or Venice. In short you can have the holiday of your choice.
We had Good sunny weather, which always helps but it was a bonus not an essential.

Room Tip: Lakeside Rooms 1st or 2nd floor are best.

We booked this hotel for a week through Inghams as we were attending a friend's wedding.

On arrival we were greeted by a very friendly and helpful receptionist who showed us our room (a suite on the 3rd floor) and carried out cases up.

The room was a good size with a modern feel. The bathroom had a jacuzzi bath - which, unless you turned the power down was a little on the enthusiastic side! - and was very clean. The rooms are cleaned daily to a good standard. We had two balconies overlooking the most beautiful view of Lake Garda and down to the castle in Malcesine.

The hotel itself is situated about 15 mins walk to the north of the castle, just close enough to walk and far enough away that the waterfront was quiet and peaceful.

The waterfront itself has a well maintained pontoon with seating available, which is a lovely spot for a coffee, lunch or dinner. The hotel has plenty of sun loungers which you can take to the waterfront or use in the garden area. They have fantastic screens that can be used to shade your face - very handy if you are trying to read!

The food here is more than excellent! It is probably the best hotel food we have ever had! Every day is different and they offer: an optional appetiser, a choice of 3 starters and 3 mains, a dessert and a salad buffet. The wine list is extensive and ranges from wallet-friendly €13 bottles all the way to €400 bottles! I don't think they serve wine by the glass (I never asked) but you can buy a bottle, drink some, leave it at the table and the rest will be kept and served to you the following night, along with any water you didn't finish.

The waiters and waitresses are very friendly, attentive and knowledgable.

There is an indoor pool (which, as you can imagine, is not used very often) and a jacuzzi. I have seen that a couple of people have mentioned that the jacuzzi water is the same temperature as the pool. However, they are thinking of a 'hot tub' - this is a jacuzzi and does exactly what it is supposed to do! It's a nice spot to relax after a long day in the sun. We always had the jacuzzi to ourselves!

On our day of departure, we were being collected from the hotel at 7am - too early for breakfast. However, the lovely lady at reception, arranged for us to have coffee and breakfast brought to our room before 7 at no charge.

Overall, we have loved every minute of our peaceful stay here and would definitely come back to stay at Hotel Europa again!

Grazie! to the owners and staff.

:)
