We stayed in Lola for 5 nights in July and came back again in August. The Hotel is in the perfect location, right across from the beach where you can rent umbrellas and sun loungers from Bagno Raffaello, this place is great for lunch and has so much entertainment for the kids. The family that own the hotel are very helpful and so are all the staff. Alessio made us feel very welcome. Rooms were spotless and cleaned everyday. We had a bed and sofa bed, both were very comfortable and good air con. The room had it's own balcony with a great view of the sea. They offer a good breakfast. There are some nice shops just beside the hotel, lovely village to take a walk with the kids in the evening and there is a great ice cream place that makes crepes beside the hotel. The kids loved this place and so did we. Perfect holiday with the kids, we will be back again next summer.

We picked this hotel as it was close to a beach (walking distance). The staff were friendly and helpful including extending the opening time of the restaurant at lunchtime on the day we arrived. The served a very tasty if sligthly expensive lunch for us - still we cannot complain as they did cook for us when they were shutting. The biggest issue was parking, driving to the hotel, there were access gates that restricted access to the front of the hotel. There was very limited on site parking and we had to basically fend for ourselves with the parking in the surrounding area. This was not too expensive and if you were willing to walk 5 minutes, you could get it for free but this was not ideal with luggage and children. The room itself was very nice if basic, we had a very comfortable night. Breakfast was a cold buffet which was fine although there were a lot of very sweet items. I would have liked a bit more savoury but this was not typical in Italy. The beach itself was the biggest disappointment. It was packed with sun loungers that you had to pay for and the people 'renting' these basically were quite snooty about it being a private beach and you couldn't even put your towel down on the sand next to the water. It was noisy, and unpleasant going to the bit of beach near the hotel. This is in contrast to some of the beaches further down the coast which were much quieter and devoid of people hawking sun loungers. Marina di Grossetto was small but had a few nice places to eat. It was some distance from Grosetto itself... so unless you were happy to drive, the better places to eat in Grosetto were out of reach. Price was mid range and fine for what we got. Again my takeaway was the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful but the location seemed suboptimal if you wanted to have a relaxed couple of days by the beach.

Room Tip: Book your parking in advance.

The service was quite okay. The hotel building and furniture is old like from 80's but it was clean. Breakfast was too sweet for our taste but perhaps it is Italian style...

Marina di Grosetto is a quite small place but the beach there is nice. For us one night there was enough.

This was a great hotel for our 4 night stay. Directly across from one of the many free beach access points in Marina Di Grosseto, it has a nice restaurant (very reasonable prices & the best pizza we had all week) and very good air conditioning! The staff were very helpful & everything was in good condition. Pretty good breakfast is included (no hot items except drinks, but everything you would expect). It is right in the center of all the activity but we did not find it loud inside the room whatsoever. Highly recommend their 1 bedroom suite. Very spacious with great view from the terrace.

I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return!

We found this lovely hotel just one block back from the beautiful beach and marina in Grosseto Marina. It was really good value, spotlessly clean, we had a lovely suite with partial sea view. It was quiet and comfortable with pleasant staff. The adjoining restaurant served good food with a varied menu and excellent wine choice. We had stayed in nearby Punta Alla 40 years ago and think this is a lovely part of Italy with many places to visit for a day trip.

Room Tip: Perhaps the higher rooms are quieter ours was perfect with partial sea view and a small balcony.
