I used this hotel as a base to travel around Tuscany. Freshly refurbished bathroom, bedrooms a bit old fashioned. Staff at the reception or in restaurant was very helpful and nice. Nice stay for the price.

We have just returned from a 3 night break at this fabulous hotel. We were given a lovely room with a large balcony, the bed was so comfortable and everywhere was spotless. Marco on reception was really lovely as were all the staff, particularly the breakfast staff who were so efficient and pleasant. The breakfast had so much choice, the fresh honey was beautiful! The hotel is in a really great spot with short walks to lots of lovely restaurants and bars. The trip to Florence and Montecatini were especially good and so accessible. Overall this hotel offers quality for a really reasonable price. We will definitely return.

Just returned from a 5 night break with a friend. We arrived late and were greeted by Marco, who was on night duty every night during our stay. He turned out to be a marvellous font of information and offered lots of suggestions for places to eat, things to see...

The hotel is a little dated in some areas - the lounge area could do with some modernisation and our room was tired, but very clean. We had a lovely balcony in our twin room and made a lovely place to sit and have a drink while getting ready on an evening.

Plenty to choose from at breakfast and the staff are pleasant and helpful.

Lovely roof top pool, and it's worth noting that this is in an adjacent building to which you will receive a code to gain access. Space is a little limited but we alternated lazy days with sight seeing trips.

This is a great base with handy access to the train station - Pisa in one direction, Florence in the other. The main square is about a 10 min walk away and plenty of choices for bars and restaurants.

Do walk 15 mins up the street and take the fenicular train to Montecatini Alto - you won't be disappointed!

Room tip: Ask for a room with balcony.
