Yesterday I visited this hotel but just to use the spa area.

I paid 15 Euros and was able to use the two thermal pools (indoor and outdoor),steam room and relaxation area around the indoor pool. There are lockers around the indoor pool and stands where you hang your bathrobes. You can't leave things on the loungers and I agree with that as it stops people occupying them all even when they're not using them. There is no bar in the spa area, only three machines for drinks. There are no frills here but if all you want to do is relax, then that's fine. The price is right and drops to a very reasonable 10 Euros a day on weekdays.
If you arrive by train, it takes less than five minutes from the platform to the reception.
It did the job for me.

The room was basic, not big but clean and fully equipped for our needs. The breakfest also basic but there were additions possibel to get so for us it was more than enough.
The bath area was the highlight for a tired and stiff body. Do not forget to try the mud pac! Very cheap! The mud pac was something like half a Marathon for a novice. The mud pac area had very good service and as an special addition you have to practice your basic Italian!
This family operated hotel is situated very close to highways and the railway. Priceworth and recommended!

The hotel was clean but the rooms very basic and dated. However, it is good value for money. We stayed here for a family wedding as as the "whole" family were staying, there was a lovely atmosphere and the hotel catered very well for us all. The reception area was large enough for us all to gather before and after the wedding to catch up on family gossip. There was no bathroom in the room and the shower was rather small. The breakfasts were very poor - no choice and poor quality. There is a free wifi in the main reception. The area is lovely and you can walk to a few nearby pizza places and bars. However, it is more convenient to hire a car and drive around the area as there are some beautiful parts.

I have to say that the above review does not bear any resemblance to the epxerience of either ourselves or friends of ours to whom we have recommended this hotel.

The hotel is a very good 2-3 star hotel with fairly simple amentities but what is offered is of good quality. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable (with air conditioning). The food is ample and of good quality and you have a variety of choices. The swimming pool is large and there are plenty of lounging places and sunbeds around it.

A great advantage is the location, just round the corner from the trrain station which is on the main Bologna-Venice line. In spite of the fact that it is walking distance, there is no sound from the trains.

The staff do not have much if any English but they are very accomodating to those, like our friends, who have little or no Italian. A tremendous bargain is the full board option.

It is a great place to relax and to mix vistis to Venice, Padua and/or Bologna with relaxation. It is not a place to go for much nightlife though. Sedate is as exciting as it gets.
