We came at Tenuta la Marchesa after a long road, from Austria. It revealed itself as an oasis of calm, relaxation and green. As La Marchesa is surrounded by vineyards and nothing can be more calm then the green of the grapes to be. A tasteful and sparkling Gavi wine is recommended by Hristo (the person in charge with your wellness) and a delightful dinner cooked every evening by a fantastic cook. You can relax and enjoy afternoons near the pool, where you can read a good book, tasting the good wines of the country.
The rooms are spacious – the furniture is a little bit oldish – and a huge bed is inviting you to take a relaxing nap. One of the surprises that I have at La Marchesa is a specific bird that is taking concerts every night in the trees around the farmhouse. I remained with a good taste of quietness and relaxation after our 2 nights stand there. I will gladly return to La Marchesa, if my roads will take me there again.

Room tip: All the rooms are spread on a large corridor and have almost the same size. They are all with a view to the vineyard and the entrance door to the corridor, giving to the small courtyard of the farmhouse.

The hotel is part of a vineyard of the same name, which produces a wonderful white wine. The place was recommended to myself and my wife by some Italian friends. We also like Gavi wine, another reason why we booked a night there for a weekend break. We could not have picked a nicer and more relaxed place. It is only a few km from Seravalle (shopping centre) but one finds oneself surrounded by tranquillity of a country life. The whole set up is very relaxing. Hristo, who greeted us and then looked after us, is a true starr. Swimming pool is wonderful as is the wine produced in teh vineyard. Food served for dinner was 'Best of Italian'.

Really nice and quiet place with a lot of wine stocks every where. I took my camera really early one morning and walked in the surroundings around the wine yard, and found deers walking nearby. Really nice and friendly staff, good wines and really enjoyful food. The rooms was good and nice garden with a litlle pool for the guests.

Travelling with a group we stayed at La Marchesa. The lodging is simple but very comfortable and service is very friend and home style. It´s possible to visit the winery besides having the wines at the restaurant. The near by city of Novi Liguri is very charming and deserves a half day tour. For those who loves shopping there is a big outlet centre near by. The only caveat is to have your own transport because it´s far from any transport centre.

Room tip: Rooms 1 through 4 have a view to the garden,

The Tenuta is lovely, family-run and with all the necessary comforts.
The hosts are very friendly and welcoming, the premises are well maintained, rooms are spacious and comfortable and the food is delicious! The only drawback is that there´s no air conditioning and in August it can get quite difficult to bear the heat at night...

Room tip: sleep quality was poor due to the heat, beds were very comfortable though
