August 2014 we stayed at the Tenuta di Corbara for the first time in our life. We had an appartment booked in the Oglieto house (ground floor) and were there for 2.5 weeks (2 adults and 2 kids aged 7 and 10). The agriturismo as such is really good and offers plenty of things to do for a family (we did some horse riding and guided tours ourselves). The - really big, well kept and clean - apartment we booked was ''in the middle of nowhere'' on a high hill offering unique views over the city of Oriveto and the countryside around it. Fantastic! Since the house has 2 apartments you need a little luck with your neighbours (which we had). It is also important to realize that it is quite a ride to the restaurant (10 minutes or so). We found the restaurant OK, but not outstanding (we went there only once). Food and drinks are far from expensive though. Tenuta di Corbara is a reall good choice if you want to experience ''the real Umbria'' and apreciate the countryside while still being close to some interesting places, like Orivieto, Todi etc..
PS: I can recommend booking a guided tour and / or hike with Filippo! Outstanding English language skils, very friendly and with a lot of knowledge (he is a geologist).More
