When in Positano, you are flooded by an incredible panorama and a mass of low quality - high cost restaurants. We looked for Latteria, that is basically an "Alimentari" shop, so plasticware and homemade food. But boy, it was tasty (and cheap)! A little hard to reach, especially given the hot day we were there, but worth the hike.

They have food and drink. And thry have the best meatballs! The spinach pie is to die for. Also the quiches. I also tried the gnocchi. I usually don't like gnocchi but they made excellent gnocchi.
Salamis are good too. I had their croissants very good. The coffee is good too.

Eggplant parmigiana and meatballs were phenomenal! Looks
like a little market from the front and when you walk in the deli in the back has delicious hot and cold choices.

Beautiful and authentic food met with a friendly smile! This place is so cute and such a great lunch spot. From the front it looks like nothing special but do yourself a favor- grab a seat in the shade and eat your heart out.

The front is a small grocery with everything from salad mixes,to icecream, and very fresh produce.
The deli counter is in the back and was serving up some insane looking true Italian sandwiches. Plenty to chose from for vegetarians and meat eaters.
Lots of cooked veggies and tons of meats and cheese. Either build your own sandwich or order a plate of mixed items.

My boyfriend got meatballs and eggplant Parmesan which was so good.

I grabbed a mixed salad from the shop and then added veggies, ham, and cheese. The staff was lovely. Super friendly and willing to make what ever your heart desires.

We sat in the shade out front (they have a few tables) and slowly ate our meal enjoying the very authentic moment. The town is very touristy but this place felt like it was buffered. I hope it stays that way.

Our only complaint was the Americano coffee was not great. But the local espresso was good.

Thumbs up!

Great deli / grocery store for everything you need - bread, cheese, meats, snacks, beverages. Eggplant parmigiana is to die for. Very busy at the end of the day with beach goers buying supplies for dinner, etc.
