Great hotel in the centre of town. Friendly staff. Choice on menu not always my taste but was well presented. We had a room at the back which was quiet but just a street view but our kids had a view right over the lake which was beautiful.

Lovely week at the Europa with Riviera Travel touring each day. Hotel was lovely, sea view rooms nice but not much of a balcony only couple with table and chairs available and big enough to sit out on so be specific on your request. Lovely and clean, bath robes and slippers, take little kettle etc with you otherwise you need to wait til restaurant opens. Food lovely though if you don't like what's on the menu you can ask for something else. Trips out were very good though not a lot of time in Venice, you are offered the gondola trip which was very good value but it was done in middle of your day so limits your time to see other things, but their directions etc on where to meet and times etc with maps clearly marked were very good as we were all a little worried we'd get lost ! On the list of daily activities and trips you imagine it's one day out and about and next day relaxing but it didn't work out like that so little tiring. The area is beautiful lovely walks, lots of little shops and cafes. And people were lovely. Staff at hotel were nice though one female member of the restaurant staff could try being a little more pleasant to guests ! Though she suddenly was pleasant and happy the night before we were all leaving as there were envelopes on the tables to put tips in for the staff !!
Would I return . Possibly but so many other places in the world to see. If GOD is reading this....Don't forget the Xmas card !

Room Tip: Room with balcony to SIT out on.

Beautiful setting in Riva Old Town. We had asked for a lakeside room and were pleased to find we had a balcony..............the downside of this was when the next door guest's cigarette smoke would waft into our room. Bathroom well fitted with over bath shower and bidet.......... although I think anyone a bit weighty might find the bath small. A welcome touch was complimentary white slippers and the use of bath robes.

We were seated in the conservatory dining area which overlooked the harbour which was wonderful. Breakfast is OK although fresh fruit salad not always fresh i.e. I don't think melon should taste fizzy (fermenting) My husband liked to boil his own morning egg to his own preferred softness. There's a wide range gluten free food. Dinner offers a buffet to start which varies each evening and was usually very good. The main courses could be variable.......... I had fried lamb chops one evening and my husband chose an omelette both of which were not good at all but our friends made different choices which were fine. Overall we were very happy with our stay here.

Room Tip: ask for a lakeside room ..........worth a bit extra.

Great location on the lake with a restaurant unique for a hotel!
I have been here for work and with family many times and I have been always surprised by the high quality of the restaurant and the kindness of the staff.
InSeptember they offered the regional food of Trentino like strangolapreti, canederli, trout, carne salada, ecc... a great dinner which you would not expect in a hotel!
Thank you to the staff and to the chef Valerio.

We spent an 8 day holiday with Riviera Travel, using our base as the excellent Hotel Europa.
This was a 4 star hotel with clean comfortable bedrooms. The Dining facilities
Were in a beautiful restaurant overlooking the Lake and the Square.. Great to watch the
Boats coming and going while we were having our meals !The starters and Main Course
Were silver service with several choices. The dessert was buffet style..so much to choose from! Breakfast choice ranged from Cereal, eggs and bacon to fruit ,yogurt etc
The Waiter service was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. Price of the holiday
Included Day trips to Venice (an excellent day out!)Verona,The Dolomites and a tour round the lake.
The guide was excellent and all in all the holiday was very good value for money

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the lake....
