Just returned from a week at the Hotel K2. This is a recently refurbished very mod hotel in an excellent position sitting between the quaint Old Town, with its Restaurants and wine bars and the main Sauze bars area offering an excellent Apr e Ski experience.
The staff are a credit to the hotel, in particular Jean Luke the Breakfast / Restaurant host and the main Barman (sorry forgot his name).
Although centrally positioned the hotel offers a surprisingly quiet experience in very comfortable rooms that leave you refreshed for a great day on the slopes.

Just returned from our first visit to sauze & can honestly say this is the best hotel we’ve stayed in on a ski holiday. Very classy rooms & bar refurbishment, friendly staff & great chilled out vibe for apres drinks! Rooms are modern, well designed & a pleasure to come back to after a long day skiing. Staff super friendly & helpful. Location is great - 200 metres to the Clotes lift. Cash machine, ski hire, supermarket & the old town cobbled streets just a few steps away. We didn’t use the hotels own heated boot & ski storage, instead used the ski deposit at Clotes, which worked really well for us. Highly recommended!

We’ve Stayed at a lot of Hotels and B & B’s in Sauze over the years but this year 10 of us guys stayed at K2 . It had recently been refurbished , it was amazing . A funky trendy modern hotel , the decor so good . All the rooms had super modern fit outs , massive walk in shower , underfloor heating , stone basins ... we was so impressed . All other places in Sauze are so tired but We couldn’t fault this place and were fussy . All the staff so friendly . The guy running the breakfast area was so lovely , nothing was too much trouble . Eggs , bacon , cerial , lovely bread , and copious amounts off coffee . The bar in this hotel is so funky , Great House music playing , lovely vibe . The barman was a top bloke , nothing too much trouble , G & Ts fantastico . The snacks on the bar endless , by far the best place to Apré ski !! We will be back next year .... thanks to all the staff ⛷

Having been to Sauze on 2 previous occasions we decided to book the K2 for a change .
We were not disappointed . The hotel has been refurbished to a high standard in the last 2 years and everything about it is lovely . The rooms are modern with excellent bathrooms and great walk in showers.
The staff are so friendly and cannot help enough . Breakfast is continental but plentiful and they will cook you a breakfast if you ask .
The bar is excellent with great service and probably the best bar snacks ( for free ) in Sauze.
The location is central with the nearest lift , Clotes , being about 250 metres .
There are plenty of nearby local bars and restaurants , but I was not disturbed by any noise at all.
Overall I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and we are already planning next years trip even though we only got back yesterday !

Room tip: The triple rooms are larger

Great location. Stylish decor. A fantastic attached wine bar ( Allegria, great wine, food and music!). Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful rooms. Highly recommended. The breakfasts were superb. In all, everything you need.
