To avoid making this a very large amount of text, I will break it down in positive and negative points. We stayed here 7 nights for a skivacation with our three teenage daughters.

The positive:

- Great location on the slope. Ski in & ski out.
- Hotel in original style.
- Rooms have a theme: the zodiac. Items in the room are in line with the theme.
- Beautiful bathroom, very modern with shower, toilet, bidet, sink.
- Amazing breakfast (included). Eggs any style you want and lots of extra's.
- Good restaurant altough the menu is limited if you stay 7 nights.
- Pick up and drop of upon arrival and departure by snowmobile.
- Welcome drink on the first night.
- Skilocker for every room.
- Nice lounge to relax, read a book or play a game.
- TV in every room.
- Bottled water free of charge.
- Beautiful view from the room.
- The two girls working the restaurant are wonderful (thank you!!!).
- Dario (drives the snowmobile) is great and very helpfull.

The negative:

- Rooms are very small (at least our rooms: Balanzia & Leone).
- The heating did not work properly so it was either too hot or too cold.
- The first night the showers in both rooms overflowed because the drainige was not cleaned.
- The beds are very(!!!) hard. Not nice to sleep on.
- Little storage room in the rooms.
- Showers run out of hot water after a while (not handy in a room with three people)
- Walls are thin so every conversation in next room is audible.
- Part of the heaters in the skiroom did not work, so boots still frozen in the morning.
- When going into town at night for dinner, you will be charged 10 Euro pp for the snowmobile.
- The restaurant is expensive.
- No bathrobes in the rooms despite being a 4 star hotel.
- The hotel is too expensive. There are cheaper options with at least the same quality.

Right on the slopes, small and cozy chalet with a very good restaurant. Exceptional service, super friendly staff.
Bit difficult to get to the chalet, switching from 4x4 to snowmobile, but it is worth it.Will be happy to come back again.

We stayed here from the 10th Feb through to the 11th Feb, with my husband and 15 year old son. We booked for half term week and stayed at this hotel for a week of ski'ing.

One thing to note, alhtough it does stae Ski in and ski out.. the hotel us situated fiarly high up on the slopes and the only access to reach it upon arrival is via snow tractor. Having said that , the hotel will arange to send their driver , the lovely Roberto.. to come and pick you up with all your cases and transfer you up to the hotel. Call ahead or email the hotel with your arrival times or call when you get there.

The other thing to note, is that to access the hotel you can get down to the chair lift, however to get back from the higher slopes ( where all the blue runs are ) you have to be able to ski to it. And there in lies the problem, unless you are an intermediate an above skier, this might be a problem. My husband and son who are both very good on ski's had no issue, however I am not the best skier in the world and struggled down the only route which was a red run. A little bit stressfull to say the least. There is no other way back if you are coming back from the central ski area, called Sportina.

The hotel it's self is lovel. Very Clean, Cosy and the staff are amzing. Has a real family feel to it and beautifuly designed rooms. We stayed in room 20/Scorpio room, which was small but more than confortable. Brand new bathroom and fantastic shower. You will find the hotel to be better than average.

There is a restaurant at the hotel, which is al a carte, so if your looking for burgers/pizza etc and a more laid back menu, you can reach the town in about 15 mins, however as per the above.. the hotel wil need to take you down on the snow tractor or skidoo. Which is great fun if you have kids.

All in all, lovely hotel, great staff but make sure you are not a beginer on the ski's or ou may struggle with the location.

Room tip: Top Floor, less noise from Dinners in the restaurant

Me and two of our adult children had the BEST time in this hotel. I happened to get a very good deal, and was initially slightly suspicious. But then I realised we had struck GOLD. Especially the journeys with the 4x4 driver down into town and up again were such fun, breathtaking at night especially on New Year's Eve! ! Of course, skiing straight down from the hotel was also fantastic. The piste went from the top of the mountain straight past the hotel terrace, although I have to admit that I was too mean to fork out lunch there for hungry youths after our absolutely incredible hotel breakfast!!!! The staff were also so helpful and attentive, many thanks. I wish we could have gone again this year. But without that one brilliant online deal it would have been too expensive for a family. What we did last year was 3 of us staedy in this luxurious Chalet, while our remaining teenagers were put into a much more basic hotel in town where they partied all night... Much better for everyone

Room tip: Great views from top rooms but better for younger guests as have to be climbed
