As some other reviewers have mentioned, the rooms are small, basic and reasonably clean. We were more bothered by the thin walls however and could hear our neighbours when trying to sleep.
The dinners in the dining room were very average, and we're not even that fussy over food but do expect meals to be enjoyable at least. Location of hotel was ok. Overall, would probably stay elsewhere if ever in that area again.

The good. Access to the slopes via a private road was excellent. The pool and fitness centre was great. A dip in the pool after a day on the slopes is a real bonus.
The bad. Cramming a third, temporary, bed into an already small twin room isn't acceptable in my book, for the price paid.
The food. Breakfasts-fine with plenty to eat. Dinners-the food ranged from poor to average. Sorry to have to say that but there's no point in a review if it's not honest. We ate out several times during our week due to the standard of food and no we're not fussy eaters or serial complainers.

Cant fault this hotel. I traveled with my two sons (16 & 18)Clean cozy and friendly. 6 minutes walk to and from the slopes if you use the cut through opposite the hotel (otherwise its down the steep hill) the cut through brings you out on the piste 20 yards above the Clotes cable car. Just ski down a short a way then get on the chair lift up the mountain. Not sure why people were walking up and down the hill with there skis? Town centre is a 10 minute walk down and possibly 20mins back (yes, that hill!) Town was quaint little Alpine town as you would expect although the Hotel catered for all our needs so we didn't go into town very often. We flew from Bristol and got there around lunch time on the Sunday. We were able to buy a half day lift pass so were skiing by 1pm! We were on the fourth floor in a four bed room . Quite "cozy" for the three of us and only a small window to see out of. I would suggest requesting a room with a balcony! We spent most of our social time chilling in the bar area which was friendly. and had free wifi. Eddie the barman was a top guy. Two big telly's with Sky sports. I didn't use the pool but the kids did and said it was nice. On the whole a great hotel, Great location (but use the short cut!!) friendly and clean. Food was good. Typical Continental breakfast with bacon and scrambled egg. Choice of evening meals and and typical Italian cuisine, pasta, spaghetti etc..My kids, who can be a bit picky, loved the food.10 out of 10!!

Room tip: Request a balcony!!

We stayed here through a Crystal Ski holiday and it was superb.

The downside that a few reviews have mentioned, the hill from town to get there, isn't as bad as some suggest. When we arrived in Sauze the hotel manager came to pick us up and drive us to the hotel which wasn't neccesary but was very much appreciated after a long day travelling.

The hotel itself is lovely. Spacious rooms with a generous balcony. The bar area is great, nice sofas and high tables with Sky tv as well as a pool table.
Breakfast and dinner are good. Plenty of choices and you're certainly not going to go hungry!

There is also a swimming pool and sauna, both if which are very nice after a day skiing. Just don't forget your swim cap! (You can buy them from reception if you do forget)

The slopes are less than 5 minute walk away, very easy to access. Nice big ski and boot room too.

The highlight for me was the staff. From hotel manager, waiting staff, cleaners and bar staff everyone was very kind and helpful, especially Eddie the Bartender, he's a legend.

Great hotel, great location and great service. I'd stay again.

Just left this hotel after a weeks snowboarding holiday. Thoroughly enjoyed. Some nice wee touches and runs like clockwork. Staff are friendly and I would definitely consider going back if in Sauze
