Home away from home

I have just returned, with a friend, from I think my fifth visit to this wonderful hotel and once again it far exceeded my expectations. The location just off the centre of San Candido, but in a quiet position, is excellent for shopping and for local transport. We used the buses and trains which run frequently and efficiently to most places in the area. But what sets this hotel apart is the comfort of the rooms and public areas, the excellence of the food and above all the friendliness and attention to detail of the owning family and all the staff. One gets the impression that this is genuine and not 'put on.' I should also mention the excellent and peaceful Wellness Area where we both enjoyed relaxing massages, perfect after a day in the beautiful mountains.
I have been fortunate to stay in many first class hotels in many places in the world but I can definitely say that this is my favourite hotel by a long way. It is truly a home away from home for me and I can’t wait to return before long. Thank you to everyone who made our stay so special.

Our quiet location close to the centre and good public transport links are often praised and it's great to hear that you appreciated this too.

We are particularly pleased that you found the cosiness of our rooms and public areas, the quality of our cuisine and, above all, the friendliness of our team so positive. It is very important to us that our guests feel at home with us, and it means a lot to us that this was so well received by you.

We are glad that you were also able to enjoy the relaxing moments in our wellness area - a massage after a day in the mountains really is something special.

An excellent stay!

Had a wonderful stay here. Everything about the hotel is excellent but what really differentiates it is the staff. The hotel is so well run and the staff are all hard working, friendly and efficient. We appreciated our lovely the room, the food, the sauna and the location in particular. The very regular ski bus stops just at the end of the hotel drive. We really hope to come back again. Grazie Mille!!

Amazing place with great food and location.

First time staying always in Italy skiing and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT. The hotel can only be described as outstanding. The staff were too the highest level. Every evening we had our own table and set menu which honestly was some of the best food in my life (I’ve eaten in many places). Lovely hotel , even better staff and food.

Room tip: Skiers use the train and go to kronanplatz one day :)

Dear Mr. Jack,
we are proud that you chose us as the first hotel for your winter holiday in Italy and happy that you were so satisfied! Maybe we can also become your hotel for your first summer holiday in the mountains! The heat and good weather give you the opportunity to participate in activities that are not possible in the winter season. We especially recommend the period of September where autumn gives magical colors to the surrounding landscape. Finally, you can end the day by relaxing in our wonderful wellness area and enjoying beautiful aperitifs in our private garden.

Our winter holidays

very nice stay , I liked the hotel and services very much. Very nice and welcome approach of all in the restaurant and reception. They remembered what we liked and welcomed us personally , so nice ! Room was comfortable and large. Good and healthy food on breakfast and dinner.
Perfect position of the hotel. Skibus stop was in front of the hotel.

Super ski hotel!

A wonderful hotel. The rooms were spotless with stunning views. So lovely to sit on the balcony after a hard day skiing.

All of the staff were lovely. They really made the week lovely for us all.

The food was superb. I’m coeliac and have never had such choice. A full menu each evening with very little difference to the rest of my family. Places usually just remove half the ingredients to accommodate a gluten free diet but not here. Incredible.

We look forward to returning!
